I was looking through the christmas TV guide earlier, and the following are the main storylines.

1) Before christmas, Mandy attempts to leave Tony AGAIN (yawn) but decides not to (double yawn)

2) Dan is killed

How is Dan killed? ...and by who?

From what i've read, it involves his motor racing dream...could be a crash or something.

A couple more spoilers for people:

Debbie gets the job on the cruise ship and leaves Hollyoaks to pursue a singing career; this storyline mirrors the real reason Jodi Albert is leaving the show (to have another go at being a popstar).

Sally Hunter is supposed to be beaten up and left for dead at Crimbo, she recovers and her and Les also leave, so plenty of Heartache for the Hunters this Christmas.

Jack Osbourne was also supposed to die from cancer at Christmas, but perhaps this storyline has be shelved or is due to happen next year instead.

What a nice idea for the character of Beth - both her natural parents dying of cancer at Christmas... nothing like spreading a bit of joy at Christmas time... hope that idea is gone for good...

Actually I have to say that Dawn's death was probably one of the most memorable moments of Hollyoaks - it was sad and brilliant at the same time.

It was really sad yes... even if it was a bit cheesy having Cindy give birth to Holly at the same time (or were they being terribly clever and ironic )... but it doesn't make Jack going the same way a good idea...

Jacks deaths been on ther cards for ages now - Hollyoaks is such a enigma now, i don't think i will be watching after the new year.

More heartache for the hunters then if Dan dies. In Hollyoaks we have had so many young characters die at a young age - Natasha, Dawn, Kurt, Lewis, Ollie, Stan, Toby, Rob, Dermot.

Ive not seen Mandy in Hollyoaks for ages, where is she?

Does it say what causes Mandy to attempt to leave Tony? I've heard something about them two going to Rome or somewhere early next year.

Yeah, but i'm thinking most of the newbie viewers don't even know whohm half of these chracters were, let alone ever seeing them on the show. I of course do because i watched it years before it jumped the shark and thats wwhy i don't like watching it now.

What about the best character in Hollyoaks - Justin Burton...what does Crimbo hold for him?

i thought it was Debbie that died when Max runs her over, when he finds out his sister Cindy has died he gets drunk and gets in his car.

This makes me think back to when Ben and Cindy knocked down Anna...did anything come of that?

Would prefer debbie to be killed and written out than Dan.
