Does her entire life revolve around food or something? When she did the shopping list she seemed to order nothing but sugary snacks like biscuits and was quite demanding about getting them on the list. Then there was the time when Ashleigh had a party and she practically had an orgasm when they had McDonalds burgers, and every time we see her she seems to be stuffing her face. It's no wonder she's morbidly obese is it? A basic shopping budget and a week of chickpeas wouldn't do her any harm.

When she comes out and sees videos of herself eating it is bound to disgust her, she really does eat like a pig, her face is so bloated and red he blood pressure must be sky high.

Either that or she is in it for the fitness DVD after.

Like I have said on other threads, I doubt very much that Becky is morbidly obese. As has been pointed out by others, some of her clothes are from Primark and they don't go up much beyond a size 20.

Yes she likes her food, but Becky looks healthy, she has great skin and hair and she moves around a lot.

Yes, food does mean a lot to a lot of people, that's why most celebrations revolve around food - romantic dinners, celebration banquets, wedding breakfasts, etc., etc. OK some people like it a bit more than others, it doesn't make them bad people. I imagine that Becky is someone who comfort eats, and in the Big Brother house this year there is probably not a lot else that brings comfort.

I despair however, that on here there is thread after thread calling Becky all sorts of horrible names. It really isn't nice.

Lauren and Luke A are doing themselves far more damage with the amount they smoke, but that rarely comes up.

Any major fan of Big Brother will know about this forum, and I would take a guess that most housemates will read it when they come out.

I just hope Becky finds some of the kinder posts and realises that there are people who can emphathise with her.

I'm sorry but she doesn't look healthy at all, I think she looks really bloated and unhealthy. She actually got even bigger since going into the house, and quite frankly a size 20 and above IS a very unhealthy size to be, she's putting all kinds of pressure on her heart etc. I'd love to know what you're idea of obese is if you don't think a size 20 or above is?

I agree she is bloody huge lets be honest here those who dont think she is makes me wonder if they are big also and in denial? and like you said she has even got bigger in the house!

Oh for the love of God, she is clearly morbidly obese and anyone trying to make a case for her just being on the large side is deluding themselves. She's possibly on the small side of morbidly obese but the girl has serious food issues.

Interestingly her mother is stick thin so some interesting dynamic is at play in the household concerning food.

And she's obviously going to have high cholesterol which would put enourmous pressure on her heart and not forgetting because of the size she is and also the sugary foods she is eating a lot of (by what she ordered) she'd be at extremely high risk of developing diabetes.

I wouldn't count on it, she's reached that size by being in denial, I can't imagine BB making all that much difference, unless she does it for money as you say, but I think then it will be for the wrong reasons and she may just put it straight back on

I didn't say she wasn't obese, I said she wasn't morbidly obese. A lot of people put on weight in the BB house - even Jay last year who was very aware of his diet and exercise looked bigger when he left the house.

I just don't think it is very helpful to have thread after thread tearing a 19 year girl to shreds because of her size. Particularly as it seems to be done by people who don't like her, and therefore presumably have no reason to worry about her health.

Like I keep saying Lauren is a heavy smoker and that is more unhealthy than being a heavy non-smoker!

I wouldn't disagree but funnily enough I see more thin old people who smoke than fat old people who don't smoke.

Yes, and lets not forget that Lauren is very sporty as well. Yes she smokes and she shouldn't because it's disgusting, but as you say trying to make out Becky is healthy than her is absurd.

One can stop smoking in an instant (I know because I did it and am glad that I did) ... but once one has piled on extra poundage like that it is the work of months or quite possibly years to get rid of it ... and without incredible willpower over the long term it can never be done ... it is so sad when people don't nip these things in the bud early on ... because beyond a certain point it is a near impossibility to reverse the situation ... sad though that is ... so limiting of peoples' lives ... which is a genuinely sad thing ...

That's a weird statistic. Depending which clinical marker you monitor, the time taken for an ex-smoker to reach the same health status as a non-smoker is between a year and 10 years. Not in ANY way 8 hours.

In any case, to go back to the OP, there is never any benefit to trying to organise a fight between over eaters and smokers. Becky eats too much for perfect health, several of the housemates smoke too much for perfect health, none of which means that we have to call anyone by abusive names.
