SGS2 a bit laggy?
I got rid of my iPhone 4s as I fancied Android, I bought a SGS2 and comparing it to my 4s its a bit jittery when scrolling, certainly not buttery smooth like my iPhone was, also opening things isn't as quick, on my iPhone it was instant.
It came with 2.3.4, I upgraded to 4.0.3 but found it worse so went back to 2.3.4 via Odin, Is it my phone? I've heard so much good stuff about this phone but at the moment feel a bit disappointed. |

Sometimes after updating to ICS a factory reset is required to overcome some problems, maybe that's worth a try.
I don't have any of those problems on my S2.. |

It was worth a try doing a factory reset whilst on 4.0.3 chances are that would have fixed any issues. With such a large change to the software why it wasn't set up to do a full wipe anyway is anybodies guess. Installing ICS over gingerbread and leaving all the data from apps etc some of which may have been incompatible made no sense at all.

Can I also recommend turning off windows transitions too. I found it helps a great deal on the Note on 4.0.3

CyanogenMod 9 for the Galaxy S II is a whole lot faster than the samsung stock ICS.

But I am back on 2.3.4 not ICS, I suppose I'll get used to it, just the 4s was so quick.
