It looks like voting really has been down this week

A lot of BB fans on social media sites like DS and FB said they would vote with their pockets and not spend any money on this weeks eviction.

After watching tonights BB, i get the impression that is exactly what has happened.

The most telling bit was when Emma Willis introduced the phone numbers saying that both Lauren and Luke A were favourites to win at one point so it's time for their fans to show their support. I dont remember the exact words but if you access to tonights BOTS then listen to her final intro to the phone numbers. It was almost like she was pleading for people to ring in.

Also the producer came on the show and more or less said sorry for the face to face noms and he even admitted that the people up for eviction wud have been different with regular noms.

Then there was the acknowledgement of the Caroline/Conor card fiasco.

Are C5 beginning to realise they may lose the audience for one of their highest rated shows? Are they going to look and claw back the fan base?

Does this mean all up and two out next week?

I have no idea but I do think the wrong 2 housemates are up this week and that was down to face to face noms and the immunity thing. I also think that, allowing them to discuss noms in the first week or two has had an adverse effect as that seemed to be why the two teams were formed.

Serves them right if they have not got the same amount of votes this week. I hope that they are all up next week. that will get some of the deadwood out!

Hardly surprising with two favourites up.

The only chance Big Brother have next week of racking in the money is to put everyone up and have a vote to evict.

Give the viewers what they want for once this series and let them actually get rid of the most disliked HM.

I agree about the first weeks and discussing noms, and that it has had an adverse effect.

Not so sure about the face to face nominations, the people ho are up were being widely predicted to be up on here well before it was known how the task would pan out. Last week there were two people from the insiders up so imo there was always going to be a swing the other way.

This with a vote to evict , would be my dream scenario .

IMO there will be more haters than fans for this house , it makes no monetary sense to have a positive vote .

They should have thought about that earlier, instead of showing little regard for their fanbase!

BB will be worrying. They will need an insider vs outsider vote to ensure they get a lot of money. They must have made lots for the 4 way.

Channel 5 are showing contempt for BB fans by ignoring the anger being expressed over the way the show is going.
Their website is being bombarded with angry negative comments, but they just sweep it under the carpet and carry on regardless.
It defies belief that they can arrogantly ignore the criticism and let the show die a slow death rather than face the problems they have created.

If the rumours are true that this is the last `normal` BB perhaps they don`t care

I'm not voting. I don't think either deserve to go while the house is full of people behaving badly (I'll be kind & assume they'd be nicer on the outside).

So why didn't BB put Caroline up as well then for showing Conor her voting cards? BB could have easily done that Truth is, they just don't give a crap about BB fans.

No, that is what happens in the final week. It would be a bit boring to start the final votes now. It's a particularly bad idea as some viewers are still boycotting the vote due to the neanderthal still being in there and the fact that he was not removed means the other housemates think they can get away with anything too and the bullyies are running rampant.

I am not sure the suggestion that normal DR noms would have produced a different result has merit. A Lauren/Luke A face off was widely predicted on here just watching what HMs were saying.

I heard they have bought options for another two years, so I don't think that's likely.

It has been a success on the whole, they only need to iron out the teething troubles. I think they walk a narrow line between keeping it interesting and keeping on the right side of the twin 'nannies', the audience and Ofcom, and sometimes they are bound to get it wrong. What they need is to take on a real die-hard BB fan (maybe someone from here) to act as a sounding board for any new strategies they plan to introduce, and consult on how things are likely to go down with the audience.

Its good that they seem to be taking on board what people are saying, but they could have done better if they had thought things through beforehand. They can't say they weren't warned, but they thought they knew better and have been shown up.

they won't have an all up no - not at this stage.

they may allow the evictee to give immunity to a couple of people though.

Not voting at all I would find it distasteful to be paying towards Connors, Carolines or Lardass Beckys £100k prizemoney.

completely agree. If they acknowledged their failings (I haven't watched so only know what is in the OP) then why are they just carrying on with the eviction regardless? The whole "showing card" incident came out the next day when they wouldn't have had that many votes in any way (the website was down over night I think) they could have suspended and gone again - they have done it in the past when people have walked out!

They knew there was bullying and intimidation going on yet they had face-to-face noms anyway and they knew about the sustained bitching that had been going on all weekend yet did nothing about it until after noms.

Too little too late imho - and they are even now still going ahead with the eviction tonight!

I know what you mean, Pam. It's just wrong that either Lauren or Luke A should be leaving whilst the likes of Conor et al are still there, imagining themselves in the final.
