Good for him. Lovely interview with him and Zach. I don't get the anti-Elton stuff? What exactly is it he's done that makes people so antagonistic towards him? Yes, he's a bit gobby and self involved and prone to dramaqueeniness but really, I'll take that any day of the week over someone who carefully nurtures his public persona. He's funny and has a big heart and I, for one, wish him and any future members of his family well.

Fantastic composer.

Give me Elton over the Spice Girls or Madonna any day of the week.

(I mention those two because certain posters think they have a right to ram their biased opinions down everyone's throat at every opportunity. )

Seems to me the hardcore Madonna fans are the one's who generally slate him from what I see. Frankly, he can get away with it since his musical legacy is already cemented.. plus the fact he's Elton John .

I went off him after he called Girls Aloud crap for no apparent reason.

He might have the talent but that doesn't excuse the fact he is a nasty bitch when he goes off on a rant.

Elton loves The Spice Girls! He performed 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' with them on his Audience With show.

He also made a cameo in their film.








He does not like Madonna however. lol.

A lot of people would agree with him, mind you...

Personally, I find his rants really funny. It's almost like he's hit the menopause and gone into 'I don't need to take shit any more' mode. Saw him live a few years ago. He did the first couple of songs, then had a bit of a chat with the audience, which he wrapped up by saying he'd been touring abroad, but 'Thank f*ck I'm back where they speak English', then launched into a belting version of Crocodile Rock!
