Fantastic box score figures in and she played to 54,000 in London and 52000 in Edinurgh whirred the haters say it was half empty. These are official figures and she made £7million from the Paris gig alone

"Yesterday MADONNA completed rehearsals at the Olympia by the titles: - Masterpiece - Justify my love - Vogue - Candy shop / Erotica - Beautiful Killer / Die another day - I love you, me nor (in Duet with a male voice) Madonna is a really charming accent when she sang in French, she made lots of noises and moans to the title that ends with a shot!"

oooooh!!

i am assuming that the "male voice" will be a man duetting with her and not her puting on a male vocal...although that would be interesting toying with her lower registers.....aaah! this is going to be something special!

OMG PLEASE

She has never performed it on a tour. I know Bedtime stories had mixed response among fans but i really would love to see more of that album be performed in the future. Same with Erotica as i felt The Girlie Show didn't represent the album at all.

Fantastic figures for the tour!

I really hope she does Take A Bow!! I cannot wait for this tonight.

I don't think Gaga was throwing shade at Madonna you know. I'm not familiar with the site but it looks like she just replied as a joke to someone else. Some of her fans read things the wrong way though and ruin it.

that is true! The girlie show relied on some singles and album songs but never fully the Erotica album...i mean TOH, Waiting, Words, WLB, Secret garden etc etc......phenomenal show though.

Oh LM im out in a bit so cannot skype tonight..but will make it up to you

and yes i would love for it...it is such an event...cannot believe it Batman last night now MADONNA special performance tonight AAAH!

and Madonna is basically Queen Of Everything tbh...pop, music, tours, stats.....she brings the house down

No worries JP, thanks

Yeah The Girlie Show for me is perhaps her weakest tour for me. The set list was too much relied on her hits and I didn't like the theme or the costumes at all. Madonna always tells stories in her tour and I still to this day do not get the story or the meaning behind the girlie show tour. Oh well, she can't please them all.

Madonna should do a tour in the future where it is up to fans to decide the setlist. Get those rarities to the sunlight.

I still find it strange that she didn't perform Like a Prayer on the Girlie Show.

tis aright

and i loved the tour....but i think i would have loved a more Pop Art/Attack/Operatic style with it...i do love the big top/circus theme which kinda alludes to her lifestyle at that point...full of the crazy, colourful and maddening unusual! What i kinda love is the concept too...the fact that that clown is Madonna all the way along and the big reveal at the end...kinda replicating an outer body experience of sorts...like Madonna is watching Madonna perform if that makes sense.

I would have loved Erotica in entirety performed live tbh But alas!

Like she says in Keep It Together, "to get attention I must always be the clown".

I dont know where it was i read it but i think she was planning on focusing on the IC remix and performing a very innuendo focused version of it....but exchanged it for LAV Dietrich style or something!

But tbh i dont think it is "strange" that she didnt perform LAP at the girlie show....i wouldnt have thought it fit unless perhaps used as the finale after Holiday instead of Everybody.

I watched The Who's That Girl Tour again the other day. Its so funny watching that Madonna as it was just after she became a superstar.

I was inspired by your post about the circus theme relating to how her life was like a circus.

The Who's That Girl Tour is the only tour I find difficult to watch.

you know i have a new found love for the TB/WTg era of her legacy tbh!

It really is quite humbling seeing her on her first ever world tour at that status she achieved in no less than 4 years

also speaking of Madonnas Life Like A Circus at that era of her career...and in general..her life as far as we know it of course.

What i love about her is that sense of control she has...but that unruliness outlandish attitude too...its like she really does let loose...but under her own terms...always loved that!

I often wonder if Madonna had a different theme planned to support the erotica album but controversy perhaps put a stop to it. I could imagine Madonna being Dita who runs a dingy sex dungeon and she takes the audience through a sexual awakening.

Can someone remind me what time the Paris thing will start at? THanks.
