It's like a torment a "this is what it really should be", like the essence of Black Madonna is calling through these songs! At least the tour was surefire hot!
As much as I love seeing rock & roll M, I am gonna be devil's advocate here and request she drops the rock version of Hung Up in favour of the electro version, I muuuuuuuch prefer that! it was timeless the first time, don't fix what don't need fixin girl!”
Yeah i agree....the Black Madonna concept really excited me! really dark, ambient....almost Like A Prayer utilising religous and grounded aspects to charge really superhuman sounds off the wall lyrics and beats and directions making ahead of the era!
I mean i can imagine African beats and rhythms, snare drums, personal aspects hidden away...so many like what is hinted in Hard Candy (identity, love, loss, self discovery its all hidden there just needs to be brought to the fore)...her debut album and Like A Virgin and True Blue all mixed electronic with live instruments, Like A Prayer focused on live instruments...Black Madonna could have focused heavily on those aspects....really organic elements, really autobiographical and an explosive finish for the Warner era
