Yeah everyone loves M....its a fact...there wouldnt be the biggest array of media surrounding her else....it is fascination in the simplest of forms, its the reason why name alone pulls everything, if people were lukewarm to her i really feel it wouldnt be just.
But anger, rage comes from the same hormones that generate love, passion, interest so essentially yeah... |

Oh come on Josh, I don't know if you're joking or not. She is pretty disliked by a lot of people. Just like in life, everyone has people they don't really like because of whatever reasons be it conflicting opinions on religion, sexuality or even just morals. I know a lot of people that don't like her for whatever reason and they couldn't give a shit what she is up to.
People may disagree with her beliefs or how she lives her life, but I've met few people who if they're honest haven't enjoyed singing along to or dancing at one of her songs at some point in time, even if it's just her older stuff. |

What's interesting though is that the people who hate her and have horrible things to say about her, always seem to know exactly what she is up to ,if she has a new album out or is touring. They can't stop themselves from commenting on how bad it is.
People may disagree with her beliefs or how she lives her life, but I've met few people who if they're honest haven't enjoyed singing along to or dancing at one of her songs at some point in time, even if it's just her older stuff. The people who viciously hate her are loud in their disapproval of everything she does, where as the people who don't care don't comment because they simply don't care. She doesn't register on their radar. I for one would much rather concentrate on the people who love her like I do. I'm sure Madonna is only bothered about her fans opinions too. Not a bitter man (Elton John) who has never been particularly complementary about her, |

Trying to decide if I can be bothered to draw/paint the celebration album cover. I love it but there's so many dots it will take forever.

If Madonna ever died, there'd be universal love and a lot of her haters would claim to have loved her their whole life and be really invested in her career when they honestly didn't give two before! Just like with Michael Jackson, all those people who branded him horrific things like a paedophile suddenly loved him and all his hits were suddenly cool and not just for Halloween - that frustrated the hell outta me that these people had the audacity to do that and change just cause someone died, I found it so sad. But M ain't goin nowhere, she's immortal! Long live the Queen!

ANd yeah that so angered me that man deserved so much respect...Madonnas speech at the VMAs that year really showcased...she showcased them as parallels in the industry...she showcased them as monuments in pop cultural history and she showcased to us why MJ really was neglected and ignored. And ironically what are people doing with Madonna? will be interesting to see how her legacy and songs come about but i will be so angry that day. But Madonna...Long Live The Queen! I think tbh she will go all out next era...Black Madonna/NO FEAR!! style concepts and just full on assault on senses...to really showcase who she is...get those hits back out there again, videos on circulation etc (really missed that this era...loved it when HC was released and every album campaign before that!) |

Madonna's really gonna come through with that suckerpunch and when she gets those worldwide No 1's again it'll be a matter of "You were saying?..." to those ignorant little monsters, media, Elton John and whoever else kicked her down recently.
I agree, MJ deserved so much more respect when he was alive. A King and a Queen deserve respect whether you love em or hate em! But its all bile and viscious and Madonna next era i think she will be informed of everything...musically, visually, artistically should push barriers for her next release....really push the wheel forward! And exactly....the thing about respect is just so vile! I mean these people lit everything up and shone the way for everyone! |

also about Elton..that remix CD he did with that group is actually great....showcased his best samples of his best era of music tbh.

Madonna is gonna go into a period of enlightenment and make a mega stomp on this decade! You don't have to love their songs but I hate it when people can't even acknowledge or deny/act ignorant to the success and accomplishments both MJ/Madonna and other artists have made. Barriers have been smashed because of in part what these people can do. Things like getting 1 million views in a day on Youtube are so trivial in comparison to what Madonna and Michael have done over the years. |

And yeah its that journey into the light aspect i love about the MDNA tour...i think she knows! exactly..stuff the current generation dont understand when they are fed stuff by current poptarts are so inferior by large scale to the stuff like Madonna, MJ, Prince, Elvis, Springsteen etc have done! It is incredible and it does demand respect. Not "oh they are irrelevant, they are too old" but what they have said, done, showcased, performed and what they stil lto this day can do! It is so inspiring! |

![]() I know it's ancient but I adore that 80's make up with the sexy alluring eyes and the fake mole and the big sexy red lips. Kelly Rowland still works that mole thing ![]() I have to say that's an aspect I really like about this MDNA era, M's make up and styling has really been on point. Shame about the lack of colour but the hair, the make up bang on! The section of the tour where she puts her hair up, I love that cause it reminds me of Kylie's hair on her X Tour - IMO that was Kylie's best look, I hope she puts her weave up again sometime soon! I'm so happy Madonna revisited the Vogue look but remodernised it, really makes me think of the Matrix all that bad ass choreography and the black and white

I really liked at the Paris Olympia Madonna's voice when she went all Mick Jagger-esque on Turn up the Radio and sounded really demented in a playful way, was really funny and wacky and crazy and entertaining! I'd like her to do that on a song in the new era, something really wacky play around with her voice!

^^^ yes yes yes all round (as ever!)
Madonna rocked those looks in the 80s! Yeah maybe reinvent some of the looks...bring them into the now (thats what Macys should be doing as they branch out with Material girl! CMON!!) and Truth Or Dare too tbh! And yeah i think we havent had a true massive Madonna reinvention at all! We have had odes to her past a lot this era...but its been neutral...like ive said..this era has been a lot like SOmething To Remember 1995/6 kinda approach...very neutral, classy looking, elegant portrayals...very nice all round and eye catching and showing off MADONNA as a look...interesting... But after this tour i would love for her to reinvent styles...YES like Vogue and that segment...up hair or a absurd new hair style....slick outfits...homogeny! etc and work with gaultier and make something truly outlandish in look, appearence that is functional still....like all their collabs together tbh! Always works! And yes something insane and RAWCK!! TUTR is sublime live! it was like an ode to 1970s British Rock movement with the Stones tbh...id love samples of that and just go all out...adapt British Culture within the global style....just go all out there with it and use her deeper tons which i love! |

So basically to stem out from MDNA album and era and tour....we would like to have...new reinvention, iconic style, iconic tunes, iconic feel!
We need a range of styles she would have "liked to have done but didnt quite" (her rock album, her film soundtrack album her Black Madonna album etc) Rock elements, sampled elements, an ode to her past (Funk themes?) experimenting with Alternative Dance...utilise organic instruments with intense frenetic beats....bring personality into it...we have hints of that darkness in MDNA....but we need a full on explosion...and assault on the senses. Vocal exploration, her deeper range live is incredible would love to hear it more! would love for her to utilise downtempo elements, tribal sounds...work with the Kalakan Trio etc....mix it up with new producers, reunite with Pat Leonard. Just create something bombast, cultural, iconic, brave, motivational!...Project NO FEAR.... Okay im on my way to Interscope whos with me???

Vocal gymnastics, Madonna the vocalist is always so underestimated, she's been all over so many ranges over the years and cause of her capability we know she can do so much more, untap those ranges she doesn't normally play with like the lower ranges - her moody, dark low key Like A Virgin was a show stopper for me!! Suuuuuuuch a contrast to the original version and really made me rethink about the lyrical content of the song, instead of the track being (to me at least) about a triumphant victory in love/life it could be more bittersweet hence the sincere/almost tragic darker tone! Victory at a price type thing! I do love when songs make you think about their meaning and how it can be interpreted in the vein of Bey's I Miss You. |
