What is it with... Linden Trees?
A bit random, but...
What is it with Linden trees cropping up in lyrics? As viewers of The Hits will recall, O-Zone's "Maii-Aii-Hii" contains the line "and the love of the Linden tree", and now Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' latest track also contains a reference to Linden trees. Why? Bozz |

Thanks for the link - but why does it appear in lyrics?

For the purposes of cadence, structure and rhyme maybe?
