Going to be an announcement on monday according to twitter apparently 'some good info to share especially for you of the Sony persuasion'.

August 28th is the release date for the psn version so i'm guessing it's Wednesday 29th for the UK/EU versions unless it's released at the same time as the US version.

It would be great as a plus freebie but a discount or something would be welcome if not. The game is over a month old and i know people are annoyed at how there was an exclusivity deal with the 360 when they believed it was coming out on the same date so they may offer something to entice people into getting it. I was a bit disappointed but if the bugs aren't in the PS3 version it will show they have actually been 'polishing' it like they said they were.

Anybody buying this when it comes out next week? It will probably be a day one purchase for me even though there was the delay. Looking forward to playing the mall level again, my favourite level over THPS1 and THPS2 was probably downtown minneapolis but the mall is my favourite that's in the game.

I certainly will, was a massive fan of THPS1-4, and I actually got pretty good at them. Will be interesting to see if I am anywhere near as good 12 years later.

Its nearly here now think today will be the US release and tomorrow the EU. Have credit in my wallet to pay for it otherwise would have been tempted to finish setting up my US account and would have bought a US PSN card can't see the US version being any different to the UK one though.

Quite nostalgic playing this, but god do I suck at it now! Struggling to get the Sick scores on some levels at the moment and I know I use to way surpass those scores in the first 30 seconds in my first combo years ago!

More practice required.

I know what you're saying i haven't touched any Tony Hawk game in about 6 years but slowly getting into it. Been playing as Tony unlocked the Venice Beach level but been playing the Mall. Got to do the special trick down the 16 set and get the cash to complete all the goals. The problem is the 900 isn't easy to land down the steps and the sacktap doesn't seem to work either at the minute. Think i'll wait till i've got his stats up or buy the madonna trick. Was on the scoreboard for the Mall last night not sure about the other levels but could have got a better score really. The level that was easiest for me so far was the hangar did all the goals quite quickly.

Anyone got any tips on Manual Master have done alot of the other things just need to do this, finish projectives mode and to play online. Figured i may as well go for the trophies then build the stats up on the rest of the characters. Have finished the game with Tony and Rodney and have been doing projectives with Rodney.

It saves automatically there's a icon that comes up in the bottom right corner(i think) when you end a run or finish a run.

Is this worth buying then? I used to love the Pro Skater games on the PS2.

If you enjoyed the games in the past yes it is worth buying. There are different game modes you can unlock as you go along as well as different characters. Also at some point Airport, Los Angeles and Canada from THPS 3 are going to be released as DLC for it which i'm looking forward to. I think that there were better levels that could have been taken from the first 2 games but it's still fun anyway. The trophy list is achievable if you care about those managed to get them all and still got lots to do like playing through every game mode with every character and maxing all the stats out. I just hope they continue to support the game after the first DLC pack because there are lots of levels that would be great in this game.

Apparently revert was added to all maps on Wednesday for PS3 users according to the official facebook page also the DLC is out in the first week of December.
