Both Jade Richards and Joe Cox never made it to Judges Houses this year.

There will only be 6 acts in each category going to judges homes.

JLS did make a surprise appearance at Bootcamp, along with Kian from Westlife taking over from Ollie presenting the Xtra Factor.

The song list that Challenge 1 (where they had to be put in groups of 3 for soloists or 2 for groups) had to stand out from the crowd and 'do battle' with one another...however all 3 could go through, or go home.) includes 'Respect' by Aretha Franklin, 'Stronger' by Kelly Clarkson, 'Next To Me' by Emile Sanders, 'Moves Like Jagger' by Maroon 5.

Kind of glad that Jade got cut. Never got the fuss about her, and she'd have probably won if she had made the finals, which I can't imagine I'd have approved of. (Though of course, she might have won me over, or the others may have been worse!)

Any word on Melanie McCabe, Carolynne Poole, Hayley Evetts etc?

Oh and Kian from Westlife - why?? He was a prat on The Voice of Ireland. No charm whatsoever and is hardly a popular name, bizarre choice for a guest presenter.

Gutted for Jade and Joe. Really liked them both, I'm really hoping Carolynne gets through now, she's my last favourite standing

Shame about Joe, not too fussed about Jade, she wasn't very good in my opinion. She just looked a bit odd and had an ok voice which people didn't expect so loved it.

Joe should have been in the live shows last year over Frankie and James in my opinion. He was different and good whereas Frankie couldn't sing and James was good but bland.

Jade should try The Voice - she's not what The X Factor wants sadly (i.e upbeat pop stuff dancing on the stage etc), which is a shame because she's not bad.

I think X Factor might be less focused on the dancing this year but I think looks will always come into play in terms of who makes the live shows.

If they didn't think Joe and Jade were good enough, they should have put them in a group. Fair enough they don't look like the typical group member but Beyonce was in a group once and she obviously was too talented to be in a group.

If there isn't, then it does look like they're going back to the old final 12 line-up from 2007-2009.

dont know about haley but carolynne did and melanie got cut also, so i heard

Wow at Jade and possibly Melanie being cut! Joe Cox cut too.

That means if Carolynne is through, she will be the only returning auditionee from last year to make it through! That's a good thing for her imo! I hope she is through. She posted a really positive tweet on twitter today, so I think/hope she is

I LOVED her on Pop Idol, and didn't she date Gareth Gates for a while, and present a spin off show? I'm thinking popstars the rivals spin off maybe?

Wildcards???? Do they do that on X-Factor and does that mean someone who didn't get to judges' houses could still be brought back? I'd love to think so. I've never watched X-Factor (though I will this time) and I was there on Thursday supporting a friend who put in an amazing performance and got a standing ovation (he did at Newcastle too) and still didn't get to judges' houses.
Obviously the judges/producers don't take audience reaction into account!
