Scart Problem
Hi,
I've just invested in a QED Squart Scart lead for my DVD - problem being when I connected it up the picture was in black and white!! Tried the lead with my cable box - colour no problem. Colour from the DVD via the S-Video. Is something knackered somewhere or am I missing something really obvious? Thanks Iain |

Sounds like you've connected it to the SVideo SCART socket on your TV, try it in the other SCART socket. Usually one is wired for SVideo over SCART, the other for RGB over SCART.

Yes, set your DVD player to show RGB.
That should cure the problem. By suggesting you have colour via s-video then you do not have your player set for RGB and the QED cables (nice, got 3 myself) are wired for RGB only. Guy |

d'oh!!
Cheers guys
I normally would have had the savvy to figure that out. I think because there was a picture and sound, but no colour that at least all the leads were in the right place!! Anyway, yes changing the setup to rgb on the dvd sorted it. Iain |
