New 40" TV - Samsung 6800?
Trying to help a friend buy a new 40" TV. She returned from John Lewis saying she wanted a Samsung 6800 6 series as that's the one an employee recommended, but has asked me for a second opinion. Would anyone recommend this TV? or advise against it? I've had a quick look and immediately noticed it has built in Freesat which I'm guessing would be a waste as she has a Sky subscription that she would want to keep. It also comes with 2 pairs of 3D glasses which again seems a waste as she lives alone & would hardly watch anything in 3D other than for the odd occasional novelty. Could you recommend a good equivalent TV without these unnecessary extra features?

For a start I would buy it from Richer Sounds and save £70.00

The LM670T is really nice. I love the design and the PQ. I just got shivery from the word active glasses. The irony of eye fatigue, I don’t know if it is just me but the price for the Samsung 6800 sounds alittle bit bias.
