o2email, GPRS wap, 7600, o2
On trying to set up the 7600 to pick you my o2 email I get the error message,
Invalid GPRS access point, while trying to use the o2 moible web settings, so I tried the other setting and got the same messge. Also I have a second problem with which you may be able to help me. On phone set menu on the 7600, I can select to use either GSM or dual network. If I select GSM then I have found neither GPRS wap or MMS will work but if I select dual then it is fine. At present my phone is only locking on to a o2 GSM network (for call usage, despite when doing a "manual network search it is finding a o2 G3 network). But I am aware that if an orange sim is used then this can cause a problem if dual is selected as the phone will find a Orange G3 network and will not allow a stand voice call. So if I keep the phone on the dual setting will this problem happen with o2. Or does o2 have a system in place that will stop this? I hope you can help me with my email problem and would be grateful for any help you might be able to give with a WAP/MMS. I have tried asking o2 but as normall they are taking for ever to answer. |

Best option is to have o2 go through your settings manually just to make sure you have the correct settings for GPRS/MMS and whether you are connecting in the right way.......best off going to a o2 shop or calling customer service
