I was wondering if anyone had tried this and what the results were.

Keratin Revolution

I have curly hair, but if I use my GHD's on it, it stays fairly straight. I can even sleep on it and it will still be straight in the mornings. However, if I am anywhere where the atmosphere is humid it frizzes quite a lot.

In September my son is getting married in Italy and I am told that the humidity in the town (Malcesine) where the wedding is, can be quite high so I am a little concerned about ending up with a frizzy head on all the photos.

Someone told me that this treatment works to control frizz even in humidity, but it is quite expensive (about £140) and I don't know if there are any "side effects", like will it make my hair dry?

Just wondered if anyone on here knew anything about it.

I haven't tried this (I did a home Keratin kit treatment on my hair and it was wonderful) but I can recommend Lee Stafford's Poker Straight Dehumidifier spray. I have very thick long curly hair and this keeps it poker straight in any humidity.
I have friends coming over soon, going to have to ask for them to bring some out for me

Thank you for your response. Just ordered some from Boots on line as a result of your recommendation.

I hope you like it. I'm a bit meh about the smell of his products but when I've spent good time and money getting lovely straight hair, I can cope.

Agree with Studmuffin. Marvellous stuff. Really seals the shaft of the hair.

Will watch this thread with interest. Us curlies must unite, advise, and conquer!
