Unless they've withheld footage of more substantial violence, I can't imagine any lawsuit, or criminal charges will be forthcoming. There was no reason whatever for cutting Hantz throwing food at Janelle and telling her to f.. off. We
saw Evel Dick do much worse. Instead of cutting at all, they could have have focused on a peripheral HG without much risk, thus providing us with at least the semblance of the product we bought.
Generally speaking, CBS is altogether too precious (increasingly so) about the cuts they make. Even with competitions, which you know are never shown, they could still arrange to have a camera on the non-participating HG's, so paying customers at least get something. I recall being delighted that they showed April and Ollie shagging in graphic detail, not that I was at all interested in them (ugh), but that CBS didn't cop out. I now fear they might.
