Lego Batman 2 - Save File Request
Hi,
If anyone has completed the Lego Batman II game on the PS3 would they mind giving me a copy of their save file please? My son is desperate to play the whole game from completed mode but he's very young and struggles to play the game. I've tried completing it for him but I don't have enough time to sit through an entire story mode. If anyone can help me out it would be appreciated. Thanks

Not sure you'll get this off anyone (the save file), but my lad (he's 8) uses the numerous walkthroughs that are available for when he gets stuck.
Googling "Lego Batman 2 walkthrough" should find you plenty |

I've found plenty of save files for other games and one or two for this game, but the only one that is 100% complete is for the US version and doesn't work with the EU version sadly. The others aren't complete.
There's a site that offers the download for the UK version, but they charge for it and it's £14! ![]() I'll wait for the usual sites to have an upload by their users. |

If you get an Xploder ultimate 'cheats' disc (£10 @ Argos) you can reassign saves using saves from others using http://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/...-hacks-guides/

Its great when Sony ban your PSD ID for hacking.

Ah right. I'm really struggling with some of the later licence tests in gran turismo 5 and am going to miss out on some of the stuff in the game and thought I might get a save with all tests passed you see.
Call it cheating maybe, but I'm never going to manage international A licence tests myself so there's stuff in the game I'll never see! |

I think you've misunderstood the thread subject.
Sony don't have any rules against swapping save files. In fact the playstation is designed to allow it. This is not hacking in any way, no code is changed and what I'm doing doesn't affect anyone else but me as it'a not a network game. I'm unlocking all the characters for a young child and unlocking free play mode so they can enjoy a game that otherwise would be too hard for them. Nothing wrong with that at all. Either way, there's quite a difference between hacking online games, which is against the rules, and simply swapping save files. |

Can you still get your trophies though?
I wouldnt want to say use a Gran Turismo 5 one for example and then to suddenly have all 50 trophies ping as soon as I load the game. I really only want to use it to get past the license tests like I said - I want to do all the races myself. |

That way you can 'earn' the trophy one by one. Having said that, try and play the game normally on a lower level first and then clean up using the save sets. |

If you use the save file on some games it stops giving you trophies when it recognises it's from another console.

I got the disc from Argos on the way home. Am I right in thinking that if you take a copy of the save from your PS3 then download one from the xploder website then if you copy it to your memory card and it overwrites the one on there then it will work?
I downloaded a drakes fortune save to test it, copied it over to my PS3 but when I load the game, it refuses to see the new save - but then it didn't copy over the existing save when it was plugged into the pc, it just made an additional save - I guess this is where I am going wrong? |

-Make sure you have 1 gamesave (can be any game) on your memory stick. -Download a save file from either the Xploder db or http://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/...-hacks-guides/ -Now make sure you have the any gamesave + your downloaded gamesave on the memory card. -Boot up Xploder, drag your downloaded save left to right (from memory stick to my PS3 Gamesaves), choose 'MOVE' not 'COPY' when prompted. -You will notice that the save has moved from memory stick now, you need to now drag the save back to my PS3 gamesaves to the memory card (you will not get a prompt to MOVE or COPY this time, it will automatically copy). You can also before you do the step above, have an original gamesave on your memory stick after you have moved the downloaded save and then drag back reassigned save back to memory card (overwriting your original save). -Please ensure that you name your Memory stick My console (or something basic like that). Additionally, make sure (IMPORTANT) that you use your actual profile name on the left hand side (where it says 'X PROFILE'(Online) 'X PROFILE' is where you change to your profile name (not to be confused with PSN-ID, unless it's the same) If all this didn't make sense here are some video guides: http://gamecheats.xploder.net/showth...ownloaded-save Let me know how it goes

Tried all that, still doesn't work - do people upload saves that just do not work or something?
It still only sees the one save from Uncharted, not the donwloaded save and I followed everything you said and watched the video's. |

This is what I have done.
1) Put memory stick into PS3 and copied over a save 2) loaded up xploder and the save is recognised in the right hand side window. I have renamed that right hand side window to My PS3 and my profile name. 3) I downloaded a uncharted save from the xploder website. 4) I copied it over to the memory stick on the right hand side (I didnt get any MOVE or COPY options, it just copied over) 5) Nothing happens when I try and load the save on my PS3 - it is not recognised by Uncharted when I load the game. Now are you saying I should have a random save for any old game on the memory stick which I should first of all copy to the middle part of the xploder software (left is online saves, middle is xploder, right is my memory stick)? |

Thanks mate I'll give that a go when I get home.
Does it work with copy protected saves? Say for Demons Souls for example where it says copying is prohibited? I just realised we hijacked this poor persons thread. |

Also, sorry, while I'm at it - how do the saves work for that website you mentioned?
Again just messing I downloaded an 'all trophies' save for uncharted that was in a zip file, but in that zip file was about 30/40 other zip files all with the trophy name next to them indicating what they did. How do I use those ones? There wasn't one big overall save. They were all titled USR.xxx something or other, cannot remember the exact filename now. |
