It's been out for about a week but I've only come across it today.

It's meant to be on her new album One Woman Army. Quite different from Sweat as this is more of a pop song. I quite like it. Looking forward to what else will be on the album, especially the song she done with Wynter Gordon where she says she's never heard her sound so good (if it goes on the album)...

Yeah I mean Basic Instinct was all urban and it didn't quite work out, although I really like the album. A mix of both is good I think.

I love it! It's really catchy and it has a nice summery vibe. They should release it next month definitely! Although I've always preferred urban Ciara ('Sweat' >>> 'Overdose' imo), I appreciate versatility. This song could work for her

I like both pop and urban Ciara. As long as there's good songs I don't mind. But I feel we still a proper club banger from her right now. I still love her song That's Right. One of my favorites from her.

'That's Right' is great and so was the whole 'Evolution' album. The thing is that the majority of the uptempo tracks of that album were urban pop and that's a style that unfortunately doesn't work anymore. I think 'Gimmie Dat' is the closest she can get to recreating a perfect urban pop banger, but you never know. She's worked with The Runners and Da Internz for the album, so I have high expectations.

Yeah Evolution was a great album, so many good songs on it. I love all her albums, but Basic Instinct is probably my least played, but i still like all the songs. I don't know why Gimmie Dat wasn't a hit, I love it.

'Basic Instinct' is my 2nd favorite Ciara album after 'The Evolution'. It has some great tracks, like 'Wants For Dinner', 'Ride', 'Heavy Rotation', 'I Run It' and 'Gimme Dat'.

The reason why 'Gimme Dat' was not a hit is that Jive was sabotaging her. She paid for the video (epic!) all by herself and still her label told radio programmers not to playlist the track It deserved to do really well. Awesome track and her best video to date. Too bad we never got a video for 'Sweat'. I think it would be top notch. Oh well

Hope Ci brings more of this with the new album.

Glad Sweat isn't the lead single, I loved it, but it wasn't going to be a hit.

Love this though! Can't wait for more Ci!
