Candyman by Christina Aguilera
Anything from the Puppini Sisters' first album: classic pop songs done in a 40s swing style, with excellent 3-part harmonies.
Anything from The Like's second album - 60s-sounding guitar pop.

Kitty Daisy Lewis - Baby, Hold Me Tight.

Theresa Andersson - Birds Fly Away.. modern 60s soul. Even more impressive that she's a one-woman band.

The Sugababes' album Catfights and Spotlights has a very retro/60's sound.

Then there's Girls Aloud's The Promise and Rolling Back The Rivers In Time, Dragonette's Get Lucky, The Saturdays' Why Me Why Now and V V Brown's Crying Blood. Actually, the whole of V V Brown's album is very retro.

I love that song!!!

Similar to that, Fergalicious by Fergie. It's basically a mash-up of like 5 songs from the 80's (and was involved in a couple of plagiarism controversies as a result).

I guess you can also count songs like SOS by Rihanna and Freak Like Me by the Sugababes, which are basically them singing over an instrumental from the 80's.

Also, Alejandro by Lady Gaga sounds very much like ABBA, Ace of Base, etc.

Back to Basics by Christina Aguilera, the entire album is inspired by sounds from the 30's & 40's! Lots of samples from classic soul/jazz/blues tracks with a modern twist!

Haha yeah, 'wind it up' by Gwen is very old fashioned in terms of roots but totally modren and almost generic in terms of how updated it was Brilliant (and funny!) song

I agree about 'fergalicious' too. A lot of songs from Fergie's solo album had a very early-style feel to them.

If you like 80s glam metal, check out Crazy Lixx. You can hear the Def Leppard/Poison influences
