BBC Eastenders facebook page are posting pictures memories of Sharon's time on the show, there worth looking at.


I wonder if they'll do a summer preview again of eastenders like they did last year 2011 (Robs return to get Whitney & Mandy S return)


Also what do you think the residents of albert sqaure will think of her return?

I'm looking forward to Sharon and Ians debut and also the one im reallllly actually looking forward to is

KAT meeting Sharon again after Kat's daughter Zoe was involved in Dens death...

Kat could actually be saved by Sharons return...

Kat and Sharon shared scenes after Den was dug up, so I'm sure they'll be fine. Although I'm not sure if Sharon ever found out Zoe's involvement. Kat begged Chrissy and Sam to keep Zoe's name out of it.

I'm sure Sharon knows about Zoe because didnt Sharon visit Sam in prison and Sam told Sharon everything, Zoe hit him first but was not dead and Chrissie finished him off.

I wonder if Shirley finds out that Phil was involved in Dennis death and keeps it quite but its Sharon who finds out Ben killed Heather from Ian.......

i know shirley will find out anyway because she finds the photoframe but sharon shouldnt overshadow shirleys part in the reveal. its not fair

but why would they bring back Sharon, espesically since its only two weeks for her return and the heathers reveal must be coming up because of bens exit.

plus she only agreed to comeback for good storylines... and this storyline fits the bill.

she can be apart of it just not overshadow shirleys part in it. if she wanted to be a big part of the storyline she shouldve come back before it not half way through. shirleys barely had her own major part in the story its all been about the mitchells

lol i meant from the producers point of view. they knew last summer sharon was coming back but they chose to bing her back in the middle of this storyline

Don't most iconic characters...

they mentioned it in some soap magazines she re-prised her role due to good storylines...


I think Kat & Alfie did the same... only return if there good storylines and it was the baby swap storyline

If there was a fantastic cast, writers, producers, storylines etc I'd be excited. All that I can think is that her return will just be ruined like Kat & Alfies.

would be nice if the BBC rerun a few classic Sharon episodes for people to watch (NOT Youtube) not everyone watched her first time on the show

So you say but it was only announced in November. Her start date just happens to coincide with another large storyline. They don't plan storylines that far in advance. I doubt they deliberately planned Sharon to be part of the Heather reveal.

yeah but sharon would go straight to the police and overshadow shirleys part in it. if ian is gonna tell her it should be after shirley/ben confrontation

BIB's - I totally agree! Sharon shouldn't overshadow Shirley. Shirley's struggle throughout the aftermath hasn't been shown as much as Phil, Jay, and Ben's. All of their struggles and reactions are important, but Shirley was Heather's best friend and knew her better and longer than anyone else, so in my opinion, they should focus more on Shirley now, before the actual reveal, and continue focusing on her once she finds out. Also, in my opinion, I think Shirley should be the first person to find out, followed by Dot, Andrew, and Patrick, not someone else, especially someone who hasn't been around from the beginning of the story.
