I agree, he is emerging as one of the favs, the double act he has going with Joe is brilliant could they be the final 2????

Love the double act and thought it was sweet when Paul gently cuffed jos head when he said something funny. I'd like those to be the last two.

Paul's big girl squeeling on the rope was hilarious but if anything you like him all the more because of it. Shows its genuine fear not put on. Noone would want to look that daft.

I think Paul has done well and is completely different to what I was expecting- the press making someone look bad probably. I still think Joe Pasquale should win, but Paul Burrell should be in the final 3.

I fear any Daily Express readers may be getting mixed signals....given they're still banging the "We Hate Burrell" drum...for skewed and innaccurate reporting of a reality TV show outside of BBLB that's where to look......

Great news

Paul has just topped the This Morning poll.

I thought his thing about not telling Janet he was a trained French Chef was very funny - and the way he was chatting away to himself by the fire afterwards - he's brilliantly surreal isn't he?!

He's a smarmy, shrieking misogynist.

I'm just delighted to see someone get the measure of Janet - you can't win an argument with her because she just keeps changing her argument and throwing in personal insults for good measure which people then get side-tracked by. She gets away with outrageous rudeness because everyone's frightened to challenge her.

I cheered when Paul laughed as if she was being very silly and said "Shut up, you red-haired mare".
More, please!!

He has some power in that he is working out how to negate JSP's malign sarcasm, in fact he just needs to absorb it for a few more days and she will talk herself out of contention while improving PB and SA's chances incrementally. Which would be rather amusing.

You could substitute the name Jade for Janet there quite accurately. I wonder how JSP would like to be compared to Miss Goodey-Twoshoes?

That's fantastic I find him very unintentionally at times entertaining and on that alone he deserves to win

I like him a lot and am glad that others are seeing now that he really is a true gentleman.

I agree, whereas Joe's humour is contrived. He is delberately setting out to make people laugh, and befriending the emu's is another plan of his to get votes.

PB on the other hand is very funny - in a British Gent sort of way.

He's an 'old woman', the other day he was gossiping about the women not doing enough work, so the women decided to fetch the logs, but he then decided that they weren't doing it properly and tried to take over again. What a jerk. Glad Janet doesn't let him to the cooking.

Yes, Janet is doing herself a lot of damage and also doing Paul a lot of good.

I had a quick look of the reviews of his book on Amazon

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...876820-9503033

... and it seems just about everyone that read it thought they were going to hate him but changed their minds after reading it.

God bless the British press...

I've just had a look at the betting. Paul is closing fast on Joe now. They could be neck and neck soon. A well timed run from Paul should see him win this - like a horse getting up in the final furlong. I do hope so - I really like him

I hope so too.Paul would be a worthy winner and let's face it.......the guy's had a real tough time and deserves a break.

Janet winding Paul up is really doing him the power of good. He's showing patience and diplomacy and Janet is just showing what a silly cow she is.

I'm adding my vote AGAIN. He was great defending Sophie last night. So much so that Janet actually had a change of heart when Sophie returned to camp.

I think JSP might be getting the subtle message that her witch pal Sheila got booted for bitching and is making a special but 'contrived' effort to be extra nice to Soph.

Good on Paul. Looks like Huggy is radically changing too as he also helped defend her.

Much too late Huggy and JSP - we have long memories.
