I think Paul became my favourite yesterday. I'm really starting to like him.

I started to warm to him a while ago, but that sequence last night featuring Paul and Joe really clinched it for me. It was just so joyful and it made me laugh out loud for the first time in this series. Funny how someone who is not an entertainer has been the most entertaining person in the show.

Just caught a bit of the show last night and wondered why was it that Paul was the only one working , everybody just kept ordering him what to do? Or is it because they have this sort of - domestic for the day theme" going on?

I just like the irony of Paul Burrell being crowned 'King'
I'm sure it wouldn't be lost on the Windsors

If he wasnt my favourite on his decency, good spirits and quirkiness.

The above post would definitely sway my votes his way.

Yes, it has to be said I am loving the camp Paul Burrell and showing he isn't the dry overly serious butler he once appeared to be. There is no denying that he has a very charismatic personality. The camp thing never did Brian Dowling any harm.

He's great isn't he? Please let him win. He is my "rock".

Hi there.
New girl here! Be gentle with me please! After days of reading all the thoughts on here I thought I would share my few with you all!

I have to say that my fave all along has been Joe. I have been a long time admirer of his and have been lucky enough to have met him many times. He is exactly as he seems, lovely and down to earth and very naturally funny.

Along with many other people I was very dubious about Paul being there and had pre-conceived ideas about him because of all the press and news coverage. I have to say I have completely changed my mind. What an absolutely smashing chap!! I just think he fantastic. Although I want Joe to win (and I think he still will - just) I think it will be close between him and Paul.

As for Ms Street-Porter and her Burrell-baiting....... I liked her to start with but now I find her rude and obnoxious. I think she will go tonight. I watched it first thing this morning and she completely cut Paul dead, interupted him mid conversation. How very very rude! paul just looked at her!!

Anyway, Big up for PB I say!!

Hi Floozee

Welcome to the boards,

I am a big fan of Paul , and whilst i always suspected Paul to be just as he is - a lovely loyal (YES LOYAL!) guy. I was quite verbal about this. I have to confess when he entered the jungle i was quite nervous, i was afraid he wouldn't be portrayed fairly .
The Media IS the media after all
whethether that be newspapers OR television they are all after that "story".

I am so glad i've been right about him all along, he is even nicer than i thought.

Have to say though , ive went from being a Paul /Joe fan to a Paul/Fran fan . Joe hasnt done anything to offend but IMO he seems to lack backbone.

Paul should get a good showing tonight - Joe has been very quiet.

I've always liked Paul even through all the Diana controversy. It was never a big problem for me. Even my mam who's a royal fan, never saw the big fuss.
There's so much more he's bound to know too that we may never know.

I think he's really proven himself. He's not a bad guy. He's funny, friendly and just a bit camp. I think the public's quite warmed to him.

Some more wonderful moments of Paul pretending to be Buzz you can trully see that in the dark days Paul kep Diana smiling.

Love the man. Hope he is rightfully crowned King of the Jungle!

Originally I wanted Joe to win, but I started to prefer Paul. Joe is starting to get a bit anonymous. He could do with telling Janet Road-Sweeper to "shut up" for a start!

I expected to loathe him but I must say I have been won over. ** Pasquale said Paul is basically 'not a butler but a song and dance man' and he really is genuinely entertaining.

I would also love to see him crowned 'king' so I may even break the rule of a lifetime and vote for him today.

[ETA - just what is it with this site and the word J O ?]

Hi!
I'm new to this thread, you can normally see me over on Team Steve on X-factor forums(well,if you can be arsed).
I am love love loving Paul on I'm a celeb and I think that he deserves to win as he has been the total reason to keep tuning in to this rather lacklustre series.
I don't particularly dislike Joe but I don't understand why he is such a hot favourite when he doesn't seem to do anything.I didn't really have much of an opinion on Fran when he first went in but I think that he has been great and seems a really nice bloke.
I'd like janet and Paul to be the last two for the reason that they have been the most entertaining and obviously I'd like Paul to win.
I'm sorry if my typing is rubbish but I've been having a few sherberts since the X-factor result.GO STEVE!!!.
OH yeah, GO PAUL!!!!!

lol susiec Welcome to IAC forum

I'm also having a few sherbets after Steve winning. It's been a good TV night so far and I agree, Paul was hysterical tonight. Enjoy the forum.

I totally agree! Paul and Steve have made this Saturday night!

I loved the corgi story [I'm afraid I am a dog lover] but he remained composed despite JSP's ranting - she is hanging herself and he is calmly feeding her the rope!!

Just ordered Paul's book from Amazon too!!!!

Good for you I can't wait to get a copy myself now you just know it will be a page turner. I feel Diana (had she been around today) would have no qualms on his biography as you can see he holds loyal to his friends dearly.
