Android Media Player w/ DLNA support
I'm looking for recommendations for a Media Player for Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). There's nothing wrong with the stock players as such, but I'd like DLNA support to play media (mostly MP3 music and JPG photos) hosted with the Twonkymedia DLNA server.
An ideal solution would support playing local media as well as DLNA-hosted stuff. Recommendations, anyone? |

Skifta, very good. I'll look into it. (This is about accessing a DLNA server, which Skifta supports. Not sure what made you muse about NAS drives or "drive mappings.")

I played with Mediahouse last night. Couldn't get high resolution images to show, couldn't find slideshow function, couldn't play album, only track. Maybe this deserves a second look?

I have both:
BubbleUPNP and Skifta BubbleUPNP has a free ad-supported version with some limitations, and a pro version with these ads and restrictions removed |
