She lacks everything. Even half normal clothing. No wonder she is constantly wrapped in towels, her wardrobe is attrocious. Even worse than Ash's & that is saying something. It's like she ran into a Charity shop & scooped up whatever was handy & threw it into her case.
If I were her parents I'd send that Finishing School some tapes of their daughter giggling like a fool at everything everyone says in serious conversations & constantly ripping lumps out of her 'friends' behind their backs......that ought to get them a refund by return of post . She has no self-awareness whatsoever......laughing at someone supposedly eating with their hands, then eating cereal with HER hands.Making fun of others' eating habits while she is stood there scraping a foil container with her fork to get the last crumbs of food, like a starving street urchin. She is an appalling human being & no wonder her parents distance themselves. Mother knows best methinks.

Were you one of the females in the clip on Bbbots?
I bet you all have a wheeze belittling waitresses etc who have the misfortune to cross your path.
They may not be able to retaliate for fear of losing their job but never fear they will have got you back, especially if you order a frothy coffee.

here's what Caroline herself had to say about her school years

Caroline attended a private prep school, “for very sheltered little girls” where she was quite rowdy with her bad behaviour including “stealing all the wine at a parents’ evening and then stealing more wine at a school play. I was stomping around the stage, fell off it and threw up”.

I'd call it a regional accent. It's similar to the accent you would have heard in the East End of London 60 years ago; it has moved gradually eastwards as people from that area have spread out into Essex. The grammar (double negatives etc) has a lot in common with other UK regional accents, but some of the pronunciation is distinctive (for instance, the long "a" sound when she says "house", and maybe the "f" in "think").

So I wouldn't say that it's a sign of affectation or ignorance; it was just the accent she grew up with. But you could say it's not a prestigious regional accent in the UK at the moment, unlike some others.

Lets be honest, she sniggers and snorts at anyone who's speaking, and takes the attention away from her.

I would rather she stay in this week and Ashleigh or Luke S go, they offer nothing at all to the show.

The most interesting thing about the dinner party was Ashleigh struggling to make a valid point, and failing abysmally. Pretty obvious what she was attempting to say, not one of her friends helped her out rather than sniggering or looking embarrassed. Seemed like only Adam tried to engage with her point and talk it through respectfully.

Caroline being rude isn't a 'story' any more. Hasn't been for yonks, but good for you for rallying to her support.

You need to recheck on the definition of "brilliant".

She is the worst BB housemate.

Ever!

Horrible, just horrible!

If that was the most 'interesting' part where are the threads on it?

I am glad you posted that as I have been wondering about something........................If she was the kind of girl at school that Caroline's friend seems to imply in her posts, and now from Caroline's own words. I find the descriptions of this persona in her school days in direct contrast to the ostracised, bullied girl that she was describing herself as to Adam, when she was crying to him after being reprimanded by BB for addressing Adam as a gorilla

Interesting...Ashleigh's quote says she only has 2 GCSEs and in Caroline's vid she says she failed her AS exams.

Ashleigh - “people say you can’t do it because you don’t have this or that like only two GCSEs but if you set your mind to it you can do it”

She must have said the same thing to Lauren. Lauren in a radio interview related how Caroline claimed her bitching was because she was bullied.

I must say, I suspect that Caroline behaves the same way in her real life as she does in the house...and she thinks people's negative react to her behavior is them bulling her.

Not to mention dropping yoghurt into her mouth straight from the carton. Is that a cultural thing where she comes from?

A regional accent is one thing, but getting the grammar and the words completely wrong is just ignorance and lack of education.

Some forms of regional English have grammatical elements that aren't standard, as well as particular accents. So in some areas you hear (for instance) "he had went" instead of "he had gone". Ashleigh's double negatives are the same kind of thing. It's true that people are more likely to take exception to regional grammar than a regional accent.
