My daughers and my sister dislike her also. So not all of Scotland are going to get behind Sara at all. However, I have to admit wanting to like her because she's Scottish and to gain some common ground in traits that I like about Scottish people. And in this regard, she has proven this to me by being her own person and not caring that much about either side. So in that respect, I see something of the Scottish traits that I like. |

See I don't care where housemates come from.I like who I like regardless.I know that Conor has a rather loud support from some folk in Derry.Shrugs...I would never support a housemate due to geography.

Except that I feel in this case that there's rather a large case of both Conor and Deana fans doing so. That's why I would like both evicted this week as I'm sick of BB continually promoting this storyline from start to finish..........and I'm also sick to death of the Deana support that is misproportionate to anything that she's actually done in comparison to other housemates (that we only get a flavour of) |

I dont think Asain people tend to get involved in public voting shows as much and there's such a small percentage to start with so the vote wouldnt count for much if it exists.

Obviously there's a marginal support of BB supporters out of the whole of British society, but that would never disprove a marginal increase of Asian support for Deana, would it? |

I think it'll only factor into it, if the Asian community are proud od how she's represented them. As Irish, Scottish, Welsh have stated, they have to like that housemate in the first place and if they do a 'kinsman' element might come in to it.
But it's the person that people support first, anything else is secondary |

The Asian community is a diverse one, talking specifically about the British Indian punjabi Sikh community, they are very much integrated into British society & even most of the older community speak English fluently so language is definitely not a barrier, l know a few of them from the brummie area are watching & supporting her but nationwide not sure. I'm from her community and area of Birmingham & wouldn't necessarily support someone just because their from the same community/area, l originally liked Becky & caroline as my favourites but that soon changed & l'm now firmly behind deana

It makes me laugh this 'Irish vote' 'Scottish vote' I'm Welsh but I've certainly never voted for Glyn (Glenn...sorry haven't a clue what his name should be) or Imogen or any other Welsh person for that matter. Just because someone is from the same place as me doesn't make them worth spending money on.

The same with the year Shell was in BB lots of posters in the bars around Byres Road - again encouraging people to vote even if they didn't watch. The year Shilpa won, I always had the feeling that the influence in both her winning and the number of complaints did not come from regular BB viewers but from those who did not watch. I'm not saying the complaints weren't justified, just that most of them came after reading about events rather than watching them. |

Asia is a massive continent of which India is only a small part so she most certainly will not be getting the Asian vote , perhaps South Asian but not even all of that since India was partitioned. Personally I can't stand Meana it's nothing to do do with her ethnicity, I loved Shabaz and no not because he came from Glasgow.
![]() Probably some do vote along ethnic lines but I don't, to be honest there is not one person in that house this year who I would waste my money on though I have voted in the past. My faves are usually the Londoners.
