Everything in the 9pm slot tomorrow will be absolutely slaughtered beyond words.

The BBC Two website always excludes Wales (analogue) because there is no analogue service in Wales. It's digital only.
It also excludes NI (analogue), because even though the BBC Two NI analogue service still exists, it no longer has any variations from the BBC Two NI digital service. |

Friday's eviction should be the lowest rated BB yet.

Yeah obvious, the lowest rated show ever I imagine. But I predict everything else in the 9pm will also hit lows.

Million Pound Drop for example, wonder what the peak'll be, it is highly likely that it'll be over 30 million, considering it's been a talking point for the past 7 years.

BBC1 just showed clips from the opening ceremony rehearsal.
Quite shocking they would do that really, I wonder what Danny Boyle thinks? Anyhoo, it looks cool. But ratings grabbing to new heights. |

Not sure about 30m peak. I think more 22m average, 25m peak.

Well, if an episode of Coronation Street, a World Cup final and a funeral (Princess Diana) can reach over 30 million, something that's been talked about for over 7 years could more than likely do the same.

I can honestly see a 30m peak for tomorrow's opening ceremony, with a 20-25m average. This is going to be huge.

I've been saying for years on here this had the potential to be 30m audience.
Will it be? I really don't know. I certainly believe it had that potential, but will it deliver? The good thing is the rehearsals went really, really well and that, plus Mitt Romney's comments have pushed the papers well and truly (even the Daily Mail) into mass pro-Olympics mode. Some of the tomorrow's front pages are fantastic, particularly The Times and the Mirror. The Sun front page telling everyone "20.12 tonight". |

But those were in 1986, 1966 and 1997. Last time was 15 years ago when there were just a few channels. I'd be VERY shocked to see a 30m peak. If it does, that would be an equivalent to like 40m in the 90s.
And remember the population is bigger than in those years. 50% of the country now is much larger than 50% of the country then. |

I dunno.
It's a Friday (and pay day) so let's take the factor of a lot of people going out this Friday. So let's take out the population of most of the North East. Weigh it against bugger all being on terrestrial (as it appears some people have an inability to look beyond the first 5 channels) and rubbish weather (in the North) and you might get the big numbers. Think I'll turn off once Snow Patrol come on. Hardly inspiring |

The Indepedent i Daily Star The Daily Telegraph The Guardian Daily Mirror The Daily Mail The Times The Sun Daily Express I've absolutely no idea what to expect ratings wise tomorrow - not really given a prediction as they seem either too high or too low. It should comfrotable top the ratings of the year so far though I'd have thought. As for the opposition - C5 might have been best off scheduling Big Brother around 10.30pm/11pm so it airs during the athletes parade when people might begin channel hopping. Airing the entire show (9-10.30pm) against the main artistic programme is just suicide. ITV1 have probably got the best complementary schedule with Vera. |

Really? I can't see it being lower than the England quarter final which got 23.2m. I think it could anywhere between that and 30m, so I'm going for around 26m. I imagine even those who have been badmouthing the Olympics and claiming they don't care will watch at least 5/10 minutes.
Bother watching,People going out and of course people watching in pubs wont count. I think Football is different but of course i could be wrong. I will however be watching with pride because us Brits sure know how to put on a show
