Well unless Simon Cowell announced in the spring TXF was being rested, we all knew it was coming back. I suppose in a few weeks time this will dominate weekend posts.
However, among all the olympic hype, Emmerdale seems to be holding up very well on ITV1 and EE has done as best it could on BBC Two.

Crazy they are showing the same thing on both BBC 1 and 2 now

4.5 pc is nothing to be ashamed of in a week like this, where the olympics has dominated everything( justifiably as the week has progressed), and shows ITV3 is a quiet success. 4.5 pc is often what Channel 4 or 5 achieve, and they're better known.

Hotel Inspector held up pretty up against the Olympics, Channel 5 will be happy with that result.

So regional news cut short to 20 minutes - back on 1 for Pendleton! Well done BBC, I imagine annoyance and panic in the regions though as they were told at the last minute to cut short their programme!

It's absolutely flown this series. Well up on how it was doing on Monday nights last series, even against the sporting event of our lifetimes.

Twofour who make the show are working on a new show for them at the moment called Secret Interview, which sounds like it could be a good little format if executed well.

Latest official CBBC/Cbeeebies weekly top 10's for Hassaan13, next update (w/e 29th July) will be on BARB on Monday.

Not so sure on Secret Interview as they did a similar series a few years back called Selling Yourself which bombed.

It's a shame that The Fixer is a BBC Two show as it work well on Channel 5.

Over 9m peak again last night for the swimming - a lot happening right now but hopefully 10m for Becky in a few mins.

I'd expect evening figures to get stronger too now the athletics have begun - tomorrow with Jess Ennis and Mo Farah having very strong chances of gold should be strong, then the Mens 100m on Friday.

The complaints about Team GB not doing well have silenced with the golds being won. Currently number 3 in the medal tables.

Both the food shows are headed for 11.10am I think.

I think all 3 soaps have shown great strength against the Olympics, that Armish documentary did ok as well Less so for Hollyoaks.

Ironic that Amish people don't watch any television, yet millions here will watch them.

Well done to Rebecca for the bronze medal, the gold was going to be hard to achieve - BBC commentators foolishly assumed she just had to turn up....4 years is a very long time - most golds in the pool have gone to 'new' swimmers.

A bronze is still great, the commentators especially Claire Balding implied that she failed! the American swimmer was really good.

Murray seems to doing great in the tennis.
