Personally, I think we should list them as they appear on the Official BARB site, noting any peaks and troughs.

Maybe it was just their boxes then. Though I did set our Humax as a back up for Sky in case it went wrong and - having just checked to see what happened - whilst Sky recorded everything the Humax stopped at 23.35 with 5 minutes padding on the original end time.

Thought I would put all of these in a post from BARB because it shows how well the figures are - Freeview 301HD figures ignored though because they are meaningless, and anything under 100k ignored:

Considering their positions on the EPG, the fact that nearly 100 sessions broke the 100k mark is a fantastic achievement and completely in any sense of the word justifies the 24 streams that BBC put out.

33.6% for BBC One!!! It shouldn't be a surprise really.

So the Barb channel shares for the w/e 5 Aug 2012 goes like this

BBC One -33.6
ITV1+HD-8.4
BBC Two-6.1
Chanel 4-3.5
Chanel 5-3.3
BBC Three-5.7
BBC HD-0.6
BBC Three+HD-6.3

So BBC One was the only channel with a double figure audience share. With this performance surly ITV1 will be up next year?

Quick question about Freeview 301. How does it work? Do you press 301 and if you've Freeview HD you'll get the HD version and if you only have SD, you'll get the SD?

And did Freeview 301 and 302 show the same content as BBC Olympic 1 and 2?

Very true. But The Olympics 2012 programme from 9.45pm would have been the highest rated one with 17m in overnights alone.

301 HD was on 304 so you press 304. And Bob's your uncle you've got HD.

Freeview 301 is in SD on all Freeview boxes, however some HD boxes will flag up a message saying "press OK for HD" as per my Humax HDR-FOX T2 and it redirects you to the HD equivalent. The Youview box does not do this however.

Dunno about your second question.

The red button on hd was hopeless - it gave you BBC3, but not the BBC HD simulcast of 3, and didn't link to 301HD either.

I did it manually, cycling from 50 (BBC1)>54(HD)>304>302

Bennett didn't say he probably wouldn't renew it, he said he wouldn't renew it at any price, although I dunno who'd want it, The Cleveland Show hasn't done much for E4 and it's past its best now anyway.

And there was no real need to promote Gervais being in it because in The Simpsons he wrote it and was virtually playing himself, and he was at the peak of his career, whereas here he was just doing a guest voice. I would be interested in seeing ratings for the new Simpsons episodes on Sky One, by the way, I don't think they're doing much not helped by the nine month break or the fact they're on at 6pm in the middle of summer and the Olympics (Everyone in the Internet: "and they're crap").”

E4 have just renewed The Cleveland Show deal, which appears to me as a declaration of interest (Given they entered a bidding war for it in the first place - they beat BBC Three for the rights to the first series). Sky and FX will almost certainly be interested, but if Sky get the rights it will likely go on Sky Atlantic, just to screw non-sky customers over.

This reminds me of another point. If you watched BBC1's coverage on a weekday it was continuous from 9am to 1pm. But we didn't actually see one show end and another begin. Instead it was one presenter handing over to another on a sofa at around 11.30am. However it's listed as two programmes with one from 9an to 11.30am and the other from 11.30am to 1pm. It's named whateve the broadcasters decide.

Is this the final day BBC News is being presented from the Olympic Park? I assume they're trying to lift moods in terms of those suffering Olympic withdrawal symptoms...

A few bits from Twitter. 51.9 million watched at least 15-minutes of the Olympics 2012, which is 90.4 percent of the population and 93.1 percent of the viewing population as only 97 percent own a television.

Isn't Family Guy already shown first on FX? I'm sure they'll be perfectly happy with those rights.

Yes that what I do. My post was worded appallingly sorry. I never press red I just press 301.

It goes Gigabyte, Terabyte than Petabyte.

1024GB = 1TB
1024TB = 1PB

(I haven't Google'd that, although I will be mortified if it's wrong)

FX have second run rights, but if they were to obtain first run rights, it's possible/likely a fta run would also be sold, as with True Blood (pre-Sky/HBO deal). The Walking Dead, American Dad and Burn Notice but the second run deals for American Dad and Burn Notice are truly appalling (there's a 2 year delay from US transmission for American Dads FTA run), so fans wouldn't be able to rely on them for anything except syndicated repeats.
