I'm not sure the news will be a problem, assuming they credit squeeze/CA about it. (Neither credit squeezing nor CAing annoys me, that's what IMDB is for).
And, having already seen the pilot, it won't retain 2m. It's reasonable and shows potential, but it doesn't give you that "MUST SEE EVERY EPISODE NOW" feeling, shows like Homeland did. I am informed it makes significant improvement throughout the season though.




It should get a ratings boost when it does, but ratings will dip down again afterwards. It's going to take a long time to put Kirkwood's mess right.
