This thread is for Joey/Lauren discussion (it kinda didnt feel reasonable to put waiting for them to get it on or appreciation thread lol), and the potential of something happening, coz hints and subtleness is coming across in their scenes..........

Most of us have seen it from the start..... i am saying this coz i have had this feeling since Joey's first episode and now in some of their other scenes.... are EE planting hints here and there and i guess i kinda hope its leading that way........ like yesterday subtle sparks was there between them

I do think if EE ever do this....... it could work, esp if it was more emotionally done then just being physical attraction - its the forbidden that makes it exciting and intriguing, and wanting more (thats why i have put forbidden love in the title thread which could be anything in how you view it)

Yep before someone jumps on me, yeah i know they are cousins, but apparently cousins getting together/marrying is legal, but it really depends on one's pov and mindset how they view that, and we have to remember Joey and Lauren didnt grow up together, never even knew one existed in a way, though saying that when i watch Joey/Lauren - they never give the vibe of that they are cousins in their scenes, if you get what i mean

Whether you like it or not...... please be kind and respectful

i understand where you are coming from but i really like Lucy and Joey together but it be nice to see the tension between people if Lauren and Joey did get together.

i dont know why but i got a feeling Derek is going to get to Joey thought Lucy (if you get what i mean) just saying

I like the idea of them being together, whether they are cousins or not. If they grew up as cousins it would be a bit odd, but they have only just met.

I wouldn't be suprised if they spend a little while flirting then getting together, but in secret, as they are afraid of what will be said with them being cousins.

Then Tanya finds them kissing or in bed together and hits the roof revealing that Derek is Laurens dad

I know it's early but I wish a love triangle starts soon with Lucy, Lauren and joey or at least happen sometime in the future

No1, I really dont think Lauren is Derek's daughter, she has to be Max's..... ppl say she doesnt look like Max, but then i say that Max doesnt look like his brothers lol

I do think in secret there might be some flirting but cautious in doing in front of ppl, and also Lauren has hammered it to us quite a few times, he is my cousin, we are cousins lol

I did wonder if that was all foregrounding of a potential relationship with the stress being on the 'wrong'/'forbidden' element.

We've had Cora's secret daughter. I pray they don't go down the "secret daughter" route with Lauren.

I'd rather see Lauren have a passionate affair with Lucy

Yeah, i also found that a hint as well to J/L forbidden aspect, i mean Whitney even asked would you go for him if he wasnt your cousin, Lauren said he is my cousin etc, and probably would if he wasnt her cousin, so to me that was another seed planted in

I'd love to see it as a slow burner type storyline. Maybe throw in a pregnancy along the way and a wedding day reveal

Even i did that...... my mind just went - what if there is something more, their scenes just suggested that, and also the many times they had Lauren use the word he is my cousin whilst Whit and Lucy just going gaga over him lol, not forgetting Tanya as well lol
