Maybe but it wouldnt make sense for Lauren not to react. Or I guess it wouldn't coincide with her hearing it from Tanya. On his account though, considering he was going to no.5 yesterday to tell her, I'm surprised he doesn't.

i think 20th or 21st is when Lauren finds out the truth about Joey still loving her and Derek's blackmailing and she tells Max it all about the crash and everything.. yes i don't think Joey will say he loves her until he is back now but i do wonder what he does say to her when he leaves.

Joey says he has to go because he has no where to spend christmas so he goes to his moms, and the 21st she finds out because she gets drunk and blurts our first about her romance, with joey, that she was driving and tanya knew all along, they get into arguments and tanya blurts out that joey only dumped her because derek made him, and that is the reason he left. I dont think he will admit he loves her until the night they spend together on the 3rd or at the police station on the 4th

He doesn't return on boxing day, he comes back on the 3rd for the funeral

I read Joey confronts Jack and Max at the funeral saying how their playing happy families.

...It seems Joey is really going to regret not giving his Dad a chance.

Joey is also really upset because derek is the once that saves him and lauren from the crash, if it wasn't for them, they would of died. So I suppose he has him to thank, he also brakes down at the funeral

He tells her to stay because he thinks it best, especially since friday episode, and no nothing of joey in mondays, just lauren and lucy, but both in it on tuesday and that's it for this week

Lucy, the article Digital Spy posted of the Branning's out on the Square laying flowers etc is the day after Derek's death, which is Boxing Day, so Joey does return on Boxing Day to support Alice, but then leaves again. At least I'm 99.9% sure that's what happens!
