..maybe he sees how Lauren is becoming and backs off of her because he thinks he is making her like that but then when he sees she is even worse without him he finally gives in and be's with her

Okay, here's my opinion, I think Joey does go back to Lucy because Derek drips poison in his ear! We know Lauren comforts Joey at Derek's funeral, and we know they've got scenes coming up next year as Jacqueline tweeted about running lines with him. I'm not worrying, I'm really not!

I like the one about Joey thinking he's making her like and gives in when he sees how worse off she is without him X
