Christian really didnt give a crap if she got hurt, as far as he was concerned was they are in love, and your in the way........ etc, like it was her fault or something

I think it has to be full falling in love factor here, other then just being half into it, coz the viewers need to be convinced that is it (because well they are cousins, if you are gonna feel something for your cousin, then it has to be real and to have deep feelings) and also since it has that forbidden angle to it....

Yeah it was almost as though he thought she was foolish for loving Syed and believing he was straight sort of thing!

Definitely agree with that! They couldn't just have a fling between cousins, otherwise they wouldn't go near it would they. It's almost as though they'll love each other so much that they have no choice but to be together! Can't wait for it! x

Exactly, there is no point going that direction if its not going to be deep feelings involved and love and so on.......
I wonder if Joey will be shocked that he actually has fallen for a girl, coz this must be the first he has.... as far as i can see he is not serious about Lucy and thinks she can have any girl he wants, like he said to Whit, its to see that he could kiss - he did, and she responded, he got his answer

I know it'll be so interesting to see as it carries out the different feelings involved! He's such a player and yeah like when whit was like 'why did you do that?!' and goes 'cause i could' as much as i love his cheeky side, it'll be interesting to see how he actually feels, and hopefully he'll open up to lauren!!

Yeah it was kind of annoying/slightly upsetting to watch! you don't want anyone to go through that! x

I think seeing how Joey will react and deal with it, will be good to watch - esp if its something he tries not to acknowledge, or keep his distance or he tries to be there purposely just to see how they are in each other's presence, and also be there for her esp if she is gonna start drinking again........

I have a feeling her drinking will play quite a big factor, I think eventually he'll be liker her 'rock', if you will, to help her away from the booze! Will be interesting to see how they are with one another after the crash, and will it be drunk/arguing? As I think the spoilers i've read suggest some things develop before the crash! x

I do expect the crash to bring them closer, and the accident will play a crucial role in that.......

I also hope he will help her to stay away from the booze.... i like the sound of him being her rock, and she needs that more then anything

Definitely agree with this! her family have never really been a rock for her, they fall apart all the time, so it'll be nice for her to have someone. Especially as her friends sort of come and go all the time too!

As for not trawaling the thread fair enough, but you are misformed coz.......
We know its legal...... and its not fully incest but some ppl in this world still probably see it as incest, thats what i put in in the first post (i think i did lol)

Its still a forbidden element in the STORYLINE and everything else this storyline will have.........

Precisely just because of legal reasons doesn't mean peoples perception of this storyline is all of a sudden going to be accepting. I thought from the very first episode they'd be a good couple, unfortunately yes they are cousins, but i'll be interesting to see how Eastenders handles this issue!

Extra - Jac Jossa just tweeted saying her and David Witts were doing a photoshoot today! Cannot wait to see these promo shots!

Yeah I heard that too! It's been a long time since a soap handled this sort of thing. Cause I don't believe any other soap has done a storyline along these lines and Shannis was a long time ago now!

And me too! They hardly do that where its true love anymore! Whit and Tyler was quite good, but I want a full on storyline for it!

Ahh, Shannis, now there's a love story that had a wonderful build-up, angst etc.

The build-up for Joey/Lauren has also been wonderful so far imo.

Can't wait to see what different roads they might take this one down compared to it! And it definitely has been a good build up, in a way there have been subtle hints the whole way a long already!
