This certainly isn't the same JTW I was having a nice chat with about Paul Burrell this afternoon and whose posts are usually concise and well written

OMG, just looking at my last thread above.

Was I p*ssed last nght? No need to answer because I know by the hangover I've got.

So apologies if I was a 'royal' pain in the ass. I can be JSP's worst nightmare.

Hopefully the majority of you who know me better and had the good sense to ignore me

In fact, I don't think I managed to get any further than this thread?

Aw well, that's me 'til the next time.

he must have deserved it.

You can always justify it by telling your friend you were about to entertain him by doing a pole dance but he just wouldn't sit still. On second thoughts, think of another excuse.

lol I'm female too and this Emma B is a stunner.

I think, if I remember correctly, part of my earlier dispute was to do with which Emma B we were talking about and which one is Brian's gf. Apparently there's two Emma B's.

damned footie I stand in front of the box every night it's on and it makes no difference. I still get out voted. So I just sing, play my music and phone all my pals and make as much noise as I can. Does it work - no. Men must have in-built obliviousness when the football is on.

aww he plans to get married now - this is from Sky News this morning:

Brian 'hot air' Harvey plans to propose to model girlfriend Emma B following his jungle fall-out and walk-out.

The former East 17 star quit I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! after a bust-up with Janet Street-Porter.

It was triggered by his excessive flatulence.

Harvey was reunited with his girlfriend after leaving the jungle - and later spoke of their plans to wed the 24-year-old.

The 30-year-old told the Daily Star: "Emma has stood by me through so much.

"I decided it was time to make things more permanent between us. But I want to do it right.

"I recently bought her a huge sparkler, but I didn't stage any fancy proposal.

"Now I am going to do it the old fashioned way by asking her dad for her hand in marriage."

The row between the singer and journalist Janet was sparked when he broke wind close to her as she cooked dinner.

The row was the final straw for Harvey, who had complained constantly about being plagued by flies during his time in the jungle.

The camel's back was broken late in the week when he was covered swarm of flies while trying to eat infested pies.

He went into the jungle after learning that his grandmother, who raised him, had died.

I hope she knows what she's taking on when she weds him. Step-mothering ain't easy.

Brian and 1.5 million flies. With that flatulence problem, I doubt he'll ever get rid of them. Poor girl

Of course is Harvey wanted to see some real starvation and flies he'd give some attention to any famine reports on the news.......He's a selfish, well fed, publicity desperate wannabe/has been.....There's isn;t a single excuse that can forgive him quitting......

what about Emma B? According to some guys on this forum, they'd never have stepped into the jungle if they had her as a gf.

Clearly she isn't enough to subdue his desire for the fame he's long since lost....From now on he'll be known as "the coward who quit".......

i'd love to have seen him stay in, just like i wish Lydon stayed in last time, but at least with Brian, i think he really did 6 days more than he really had to, for what ever reason he went into the jungle, may it be money, hell people need to make a living, but he did suffer a death in the family, and to be fair i think the general thinking in most populations around the world is that a Grandparents' death doesn't 'deserve' as much grieving, and it seemed that way from well Nancy and Sophie's comments on the show last night (edited who knows), but i don't think flies and the rice were the real bugbears for him. From what i gather he was very close to her, and i do know of people who have gone on to perform publically very shortly after a death, and not through any amount of personal greed, but genuinely to not let their passed ones down. But to be in the public eye 24 hrs, and in a less than usual situation, i think it takes real guts, not the supposed braveness that your Radcliffe or Holmes take to run around a bleedin course in nice comfy trainers, but genuine inner strength.

Joe summed it up well, saying he needed to go home and grief, i don't think Brian had a chance in there with relative strangers, and unlike 'cough' others 'cough' Appleton, he never used it as an excuse for absolutely anything, but i think people kind of forgot or probably didn't know what he was going through.

and yes flies are pretty harmless, but i can sympathise with him, having been in similar conditions, though thank god, not been tied up with a million of them on me, that next to Burrels was seriously the worst IAC trial so far. And i imagine if Brian was in those jungle conditions knowing there was no 5 star hotel around the corner, he would have stuck with it, but end of the day it is just a game, he shouldn't have to take it past his limits..

respect to the guy.

Quite...the trouble with professional quitters like him is that you can't rely on them....I hope his charity is compensated....
