Vic taking a back seat for Nancy?
Is Vic staying low-key in order to keep his wife in the limelight? I can't believe a great comedian like him is so quiet! It has been reported that between them they have been paid £150k and presumeably Vic only agreed if Nancy went in there too. So, therefore, why aren't ITV getting their moneys' worth with more exposure of him?
Wondering if it's to give him chance to settle in or deliberate editing out. Can't weigh it up anyway. |

If he really wanted his wife to stay in the limelight he could have remained really low-key by not actually going in at all.
I may send that as a TOP-TIP to Viz.... |

They probably only took her if they could get him to go on too.
He hardly needs the exposure or the money, and he is said to be besotted with his young wife who just happens to be very ambitious for a media career...

Of course he is. He does what he is told and it appears Nancy wears the trousers in this relationship.

Couldn't it just be that Vic is actually a remarkably unfunny, miserable sod when he doesnt have a script in front of him? Joe tried to have a conversation with him yesterday about what comedians had inspired him and he just got blanked by Vic who seemed more interested in grinding something than talking.

He's probably just like most comedians, who can be moody and unfunny off stage.

I've never found Joe funny but I like him on this show I've never found Vic funny either and I've not warmed to him at all. Besotted with his young wife you say? He just looks like a dirty old man to me! |

Why doesn't he do that thing where he puts his glasses to one side of his nose and slaps the little chap on the cheeks ?
'You can't see the join'........... He used to be so funny when he was with little Ern. |

Yes he has blatantly been edited out of the show and has done lots of stuff. The amount of air time joe is getting is unpraportional.
