Sorry i just dont see any chemistry with them. First dance i thought i saw some chemistry for the 1st time was their showdance.

Jills fantastic technically but i find her very clinical in doing her steps!!

But didn't they say on It Take Two the other day that he wasn't in it so it can't have been a recent decision!!! Slow Sun!!

Completely agree Laura82.....Laura Lou just because u r a dancer doesn;t mean u can spot chemistry....Natasha and brendan chemistry has nothing to do with their fling as I felt they had chemistry way before that even came to light! Jill and Darren are mechanical .....I might even go so far as to say false!

Jill & Darren definitely have chemistry!, you only have to see how they look at each other and were on the final! I think there is something going on between them to be honest! - they'd make a great couple too..

O my god. No way is there anything going on with those two!!
To me their relationship comes across as a sibling type of one.

I agree minihoy. I always felt from word go that Natasha and Brendan had great chemistry and the first time i heard anything bout them possibly being an item was months after the first series finished.

I would even go so far to say there is as much chemistry going on there as there is in a biology class!!! :P :P

I don't know what chemistry is, but I enjoy watching Jill & Darren because they are obviously having a lot of fun (Jill's exuberance and Jack Nicholson-esque smile helps too).

I don't care about the are they or aren't they thing with Brendan & Natasha; I just don't like either of them very much (and I'd rather see Brendan dance with somebody else).

As for my 2 reasons thing with Lesley...

I think she is a bit of a MILF; she may come across as nauseatingly vain at times, but she looks great

I was wondering the same thing ! I can't believe anyone can't see the magic between those two. The judges said "you two look like you were born to dance together" and comment every week how much chemistry they have out there on the dance floor. They got a perfect '40' in the final, and the press is going nuts for them. Even Richard Madley said they look like they fell in love. They sparkle and leapt off the screen for me, turning me into a dance nut when I couldn't have given a flying monkey about dance before.

As for being clincial, well that's just bizarre. She was the only dancer to look into the camera when dancing, to smile at the audience. That's bringing the dance to life ! Plus, you don't get the lead role in Chicago for being 'clinical' ! Roxy is the hardest amd most dynamic part on the stage and the US producers are notoriously strict and picky about the role. Jill is pure magic dancing, as you say, end of story.

Npt end of story...clearly as I still don't get it! I was incredulous about the four 10's...for a dance that lacked a major part of it then it shouldn't have got that high score. Plus I know many people who feel that their first jive was better than the one on saturday so whether there is chemistry or not...they should not have got any more points than the first!

When I see people dance I like to feel like I am part of it not just a spectator....with Natasha and Brendan, Lesley and Anton, Denise and Ian ....I felt like part of it and it made me feel really pleased to be watching it. With Jill and Darren it made me feel like I was watching a party that I had not been invited to (a very technically good party - you know the ones with a party planner and maybe even a balloon net!) but a spectator none the less!

I totally agree Nat. I know we all have our own opinions but i just didnt feel like part of it as you said when watching Jill and Darren dance.
Shes a fantastic dancer and will be fantastic in Chicago but to me Jill and Darrens dances every week were very showy numbers.
Also agree i thought their first jive was better than Satudays. Therefore they shouldnt have got more points.
I wasnt a Denise fan but felt her and Ian had better chemistry on the floor.

There was more chemisry between Julian and his partner.

Julian even mentioned at one point that he thought he might be on the turn.
They both said at the final that they would remain friends. Many people say this but these two I believe - they obviously became very close.

Thats why I don't think They have any chemistry either, Jill and Darren dance for the audience, beaming out at them, but Natasha and Brendan danced for eachother, just watch how they never take their eyes off eachother, that what made them magic to watch. For me at least Jill and Darrens' routines were too placed and unnatural, there was no emotion there, every dance was danced extremely accurately but I just didn't feel it. Jill and Darren could have been dancing with anyone and it would have been the same. With Natasha and Brendan that just wasn't the case which made you feel like you were seeing something really special. Just my opinion, Orangesmarties

Dancing is supposed to be about looking like a couple on the floor. Being completely involved with your partner for that 2mins.

its a ctaulyl a bit of both and jil land darren had it all! swonky is 100% correct. what makes you lot think you know more than the professionals? you are just lay people watching what you enjoy. and whilst people enjoy a good romance and a bit if entertainment, jill and darren are the best dancers. as will be revealed on the christmas special. a perfect 40 was what they deserved more than anything. they interact perfectly with each other and the audience and jill has a such talent. trust me you dont ahve a clue what you are talking about. leave it to the dancers.

Listen darlin' don't come over all 'I know what I'm talking about because I'm a dancer'! Whether u r a dancer or not it doesn;t mean that we can't spot chemistry. I think u r getting mixed up with technicality!! I don't admit to being able to know what each of the steps r and whether or not they r doing them right. The judges said they were technically brilliant and I believed them...it looked good to me (a lay person ..as u put it!). Technically brilliant or not though, they had NO chemistry.....I actually spotted that in the final about J&D dancing for the audience, she is all fake smiles (and I know that is something ballroom dancing is famed for) but they had no element of dancing for each other...it was all about gaining votes and keeping the audience sweet. And good on 'em cos it worked!!! But that doesn't hide the fact that there was no chemistry!!!! Even CRH and Arlene spotted that...would u call them lay people. I think not. Case Closed!

I agree - Jill & Darren are the best dancers, they deserved that 40! These Natasha & Brendan lovers are living in the clouds!

i wouldnt say that arlene or craig have much clout where ballroom dancing is concerned though - listen to len and only len, as a ballroom dancer himself!
and did arlene not say that jill and darren were 'born to dance together'??? erm does that not imply that they are compatible as a couple, hence technicality, musicality and chemstry.
