Hi.
Does anyone know where i can buy a Nokia 7600 on 3pay? I have seen them on Amazon for about £40, but they have sold out. Do you know any shops (e.g. carphone warehouse, phones4u, etc) that sell them for a similar price?

Also, i have a Nokia unlocker software, and i want to know if it will unlock 7600's on 3pay? The program is called "Code Calculator 5.4"

If anyone wants a 7600 unlocking, please put up your IMEI and i will port the unlock code here.
The unlock is for the first person who requests it, and needs to tell me if it workes or not.
I am not responsible if it blows your phone up!

Thanks,
DOS

You can unlock a 7600 quite easily. However, the 7600 on threepay has a rather crucial menu option disabled. If you want to use it on a GSM network only then you will be out of luck unless you get the "GSM Only" menu option enabled. Your local phone shop will probably be able to do this, but will charge for this. (I've heard it can be £30).

It would appear that the 7600 has sold out in most places at the moment due to its low price.

Funny really, when I bought mine ages back, no one liked it or wanted one because of it's funny look. Now they appear to be quite wanted.

I sold mine to my brother the other day when I got my new phone and I unlocked it with a DCT4 calculator on my PC (can't remember which one).

The funny thing is that he now uses it on O2 wihout any problems and we haven't unlocked the other menu option.

They are decent enough phones, but getting hold of one at the moment appears to be hard.

Carphone warehouse have also sold out as they had a message on their phone system before putting you through to an operator when I called them about my upgrade the other day.

When O2's 3G service reaches your area, the phone will ignore the 2G service and try to register on the 3G network. Unless you are on O2 3G this won't work and you will be stuck with a useless phone unless you get the GSM only option unlocked.
