It's very true that the editing of '..Takes Two' is of course meant to provide interesting TV, but the friction between Brendan and Sarah is I'm afraid all too real judging by the press stories/interviews and the obvoius tension even on the live show. Plus Brendan saying Sarah didn't show him respect/ her heart wasn't in it live on BBC2 only really says one thing. There was an edge to both that just wasn't present in any other couple, even during 'bad' weeks.

I don't think it's that Denise and Ian were at loggerheads that the GBP didn't like, more Denise's attitude not only on the edited highlights of the week but also on the live show (her responses to the judges is really cocky sometimes). I personally don't get any sense that she's humble at the opportunity or the experience or wants to learn from Ian. A professional dancer having to tell a non-dancer that *he's* the teacher and could she please respect that is not endearing.

I think Denise needs to re-think how she presents herself to the GBP who have an affinity with the underdog and those who give it a gold old try (ie. Eddie the Eagle Edwards) to people who declare they're the best/deserve to be in the final. She actually does deserve to be there, but she might not be if she continues to alienate the voting public.

I know what you're saying! But don't you think that it is partly just Denise's personality - She's used to competing and that is all she has known! Ian has had a tough job at times but he's kept her in check. I agree she has made some stupid remarks - but she hasn't ever said she will win...has she?! It's obvious she wants to but don't they all?!Let's wait and see what happens?!

At the end of the day they are all fantastic and the pros have done a fantastic job getting them to this stage. Best of luck to all of them.

P.S. Can you tell I've got an essay to write...I'm so easily distracted!!

Yes it's a dancing show, but ultimately it's an entertainment show.

Therefore personalities play a key role. The majority of viewers have no idea whether they missed a step or their shoulder drooped, they either liked it or loved it.

They expect viewers to spend their money on voting, they are only going to do that if they like the celebrity, whether the judges like it or not.

At least this year whoever makes the final can at least dance.

I totally agree with ITT swaying the vote. If it wasn't on, I think Denise would have had a much easier passage through the rounds. On yesterday's show, she showed how much mental strength she has, even though she must have been devastated to be in injustly in the bottom two. I just really admire her for everything she's achieved, not only in SCD but in her athletics career - she's a real role model. Maybe they are resigned to the fact that they will probably go out this week and I think they will let loose and enjoy themselves a bit more in training. I think its really sad people cant see past her 'overly confident nature' cos if I can see that she seems like a lovely person, I'm sure other people can. And she seems to be getting on well with her fellow competitors, so if she was 'that' arrogant, I'm sure they will have picked up on it. They all deserve to go through, so it's going to be a tearjerker on saturday!!!

Well said Tiger Tiger - but it isn't over until it's over!! Anything could happen this saturday! Maybe it's time for a bit of tactical voting!
