Can I just say I really enjoyed reading machotrout's write-up. I agreed with a lot of it. Nice to see Angel as the top housemate.

I have a couple of things to say about the vote to save.


I think vote to save allows controversial characters to scrape through by the skin of their teeth rather than have them nowhere near the danger zone. Caroline and Luke S were the bottom two all the way until it became a head to head between them. Had they done a normal eviction without reopening the lines I bet Luke S would have gone, but I think for whatever reason they decided they wanted Caroline out that week.

I remember hearing when Hira went it was very, very close between the bottom 4. I think what might have done it for Hira was she had barely any screen time on the Friday show because it became all about all the arguments that were going on. Screen time makes a difference, it does in a vote to evict as well, but the other way round. Less screen time is better then. I always think it's a shame that Hira went though, I loved her in the Alice In Wonderland and that dance she did earlier in the week. I think the problem was she kind of disappeared again after that.

When are the results, I'm not gonna lie I'm excited!

Did you seriously think that pleb could advise himself on which feet each shoe needs to go on let alone go near anything considered politics?

It's going to take Cheeks some time - depending, no doubt, on personal concerns, responsibilities, etc. - to tot these suckers up but it's worth waiting for.

It's a pretty alarming idea, although there are some genuinely stupid and incompetent people in politics. No one yet who's yelled 'Nanoo Nanoo!' in public admittedly.


Slightly off-topic, but it reminds me that I once had to correct a Wikipedia article which referred to a fight between the Mixed Martial Artists Chuck Liddell and Kenneth Williams because the second name inevitably linked to the page for the star of the Carry On films.

He was already dead by the time the fight was supposed to have taken place, though that probably wouldn't have made a big difference to how one-sided it would have been.

Not yet but as I pointed out in my last post it was about two weeks gap last year.
