Mum,dad,daughter and son in law. Meaning emotions are going to be running high. Imagine there may be tears and recriminations for things done or things that should have been said or done. Assuming he (the doctor) goes back to 2008 when he first met Amy and Rory to "save" them from something terrible.Whats happens then?. River only exsisted because they went traveling with him. Unles he creates a different scenario. She is still born but fully human. She stays in Ledworth. Making the marriage to the doctor null in void. He remembers but they don't. He breaks his own hearts so the 3 people he loves the most survive and live as a happy "normal" family.
