I think it had tended to be the Saturday before the August Bank Holiday weekend, so the 18th seems likely. I saw a trailer for X Factor for the first time this year yesterday.

Im starting to doubt that the start date is the 18th to be honest we would have had more press coverage by now if it was.

^^^ That's exactly what i was thinking. They normally make a Promo including the contestants as well by now!

Unless they're just completely stopping that this year..

Well, that's sorted then. Just waiting for a bit of press coverage to let everyone else in the world know.

Not really exicted about it, but then again I always find Auditions/Bootcamp a little boring with the predictable 'crap/funny' person being on first, then the judges being fed up with not finding anyone special .. then a really amazing singer comes on and theres a standing ovation which I'm The World's Greatest playing in the background Lool The live shows are where it's at!!

The auditions can be OK but I only really get into it when it is the Live show and this forum is buzzing with discussion.
