Sky replacment for aging mother to operate
With price increase coming for Sky, my 75yo mother is looking to replace her sky box (on basic subscription) with a FreeSat PVR. I need to advise her the best to get, but most importantly that is the easiest to operate, recording, playback, series link, delete etc. Any advice helpful please

my best suggestion would be to go for the Humax Foxsat HDR or Manhattan Plaza HDR-S. The Samsung looks good but has a few annoying bugs Samsung seem loathed to fix. I hear good reviews about the new Manhattan and this follows on from the good HD-S receiver they brought to the market last year. Have a look at this review for more info:
