JSP - 'I Wasn't being a Snob' ...
T--J
27-11-2004
That's got to be the quote of the series!!!!!!!

Paul was not happy about JSP believing that she would be the only one in the jungle to have read a book (that was before she knew Vic Reeves would be there, apparently he passed the test! ). So he tackled her about it because he was offended that she would have thought he hadn't read any. JSP started quizing Paul on the books he'd read and just dismissed them as gutter trash just because they didn't come up to her standards. Then she goes into the Bush Telegraph and claims 'I wasn't being a snob but ... '

Quote of the series for me.

she hates snobbery and rudeness, which is my perception of her.

Considering how rude she is herself...

Come off it, she's just teasing - she likes to have a good discussion with people. It may seem to others to be insulting or an argument but it seems like Paul is enjoying the conflict too - it's just the way some people are.

She was being an utter literary snob! Not that I have a problem with that as such, I just fing it unbelievable that she couldn't recognise it - but that's JSP, I suppose!

She is just a miserable moody cow who mouths off at anyone who doesn't agree with her opinions!

jsp hates everything. except whatever she and her cronies thinks is cool this week.

her attack on poor dimbo burrell was nasty, snidey and rank.

jsp is a hypocrite and so depressing. i'd even prefer that whinge-bucket natalie to jsp who is cleary a revolting and bitter old dinosaur.

Everything she says is with tongue firmly in cheek, ffs have a bit more perception and don't take things at face value (cliche heaven).

It doesn't matter if your tongue is in your cheek or your arse because 'many a true word has been said in jest'.

I'm actually disappointed with Janet. I thought she'd be more entertaining. I certainly thought she'd be an individualist a la Lydon. But with Janet, it always seems to be about the easy target.

Granted, but just because you may find Janet a tad abrasive 'don't through the baby out with the bathwater'.

yeah. if a buck-toothed, bitter, dried-up old granny, sitting around picking fault with other people is your idea of entertainment, boy you must have low expectations...

jsp is a vacuum, a void, a hole where a personality should be. but hey, that's just my opinion.

I haven't. If you read my other post you will see I have no problem with her being a snob, it's quite amusing especially when she doesn't recognise it.

That Henry VIII and his wives is quite a challenging read actually. but it is funny Paul reading royalist books.

She's baiting - they should stand up to her as Brian did. That's been the most entertaing scene for so far.
