I do see what you mean about Max as a medic, there is something not right about him, he is medically quite negligent with patient care and passing off his responsibilty to the nurses where he should be making the decisions.
Mind you, he does drive a flashy car, and locums do get paid more than doctors with permanant contracts.

This fastly seems to be going from one of my all time favourite tv storylines to one of the worse...they have added to much to something that was just complicated and mysterfying enough with just Eddi and Luc. Eddi and drugs?? Talk about completly ruining her character!! and Sacha thinking its Eddi?? What is that all about, yes shes added a little differently recently but surely not enough for him to suspect that? Cant stand Max, dont think he his needed. Luc as been away far to long and im hating the thought of him coming back to "save" Eddi. I may need to stop watching for a while...

True, but the main difference is that when Luc appeared, they weren't desperate for another doctor, there wasn't anybody constantly checking if there was someone on the way every shift. Whereas with Max, you would think someone would let them know, "hey look, we've got you a doctor, now stop calling us every 5 minutes"

Before it was very much about Luc and Eddi. About Eddi bringing out Lucs character and us finding more out about him.

Now, its about a love triangle with some new drugged up doctor. Loosing respect fast for this one. :yawn:

However, with regards to Eddi and drugs. I do almost like this. But maybe its didn't need to be drugs. I think her acting in a very dramtic/out of character way is good. However, again, Max was not needed for this to happen. This act basically showing what Luc has driven her too.

I reckon what they're trying to do is get us all caught up in this storyline. Get us worrying over Eddi being caught up in his drug world and then bam Luc comes back when we're supposed to have forgotten about him.

Although its clearly not going to be that simple. I mean we still have no idea what the field is about and to be honest thats the one thing thats making me think its going to work out for Leddi.

What I dont like is the thought of him coming back to her in a right drug mix up , then coming to her rescue. It'd almost be like he was staying and helping her out of guilt, which is the worst possible reason to do something.

We all could be talking too soon, and could all end up enjoying it, but lets just say they're not doing a great job of convincing us

On the main HC forum. one of the posters read a spoiler and mentioned Wolfi was pocketing the drugs but tries to frame Eddi for it. Interesting viewing.

Hmmm that is an interesting view and sounds more plausible than Eddi taking drugs!

That was one of the best scenes with Alex and Eddi. Alex should have had that drink with Michael.
Eddi maye fallen for the sexy and flashy Max on the rebound, but her heart is always for 'emotional cripples and weirdos,................... hurry up and come back Luc and get your campervan in 4th gear, not sure if that knackered van has any gears, haha.

Yeah I rather liked Michael and Alex, they were good for each other.

Max is definitely rebound guy. Attractive, up for it and bad boy. Perfect recipe for rebound. He's only ways and means for Eddi, a snack, and when Luc comes back, that's when the real flavour will kick in.

I also love the scene in unsafe heaven part 1, when Eddi lectures Luc about properly speaking to patient then when he realises shes going to find the patients wife, he's puzzled and asks why. Eddi and Sachas face are a picture then when Eddi returns with the wife i love the face she pulls at Luc

Yes i think Max will be a drug addict and possible not a Dr or a Dr thats been in trouble or even struck off in the past. He will no doubt isolate Eddi from her friends and try and frame her but eventuslly be found out as being a bad egg...no doubt by Luc

Yes I definately agree with you Hatz!!!! Love the bacchanalian dancing & impressed you can spell it too Even if the Leddi storyline doesn't go quite how we had hoped, we can still look forward to some great lines from Luc, not to mention enjoy having the lovely Joesph back on our screens

Great scene hatz, thats in one of my top 10 list of Leddi scenes.
Tbh, we don't have anough variety of scenes of the lovely Eddi and Dr Freakinstein

I also loved the scenes with Luc and Frieda, they were quite dynamic and entertaining,, they make a good working team, its a shame Frieda left soon afterwards.

Is Dr Wolfi Scneider in tomorrow's episode ? I would like a respite from him in the next episode.

Just watched Ep 30, 'A Woman's Work', and love the scene where Eddi goes to find Luc and he is in his lab looking at platelets.

Eddi: "You need to talk to Floyd."
Luc: "Why don't you talk to Floyd?"
Eddi: "Because you're his brother's doctor, okay. You're the one that has the answers."
Luc: "If you say so."
Eddi: "He needs to know where he stands, you can't just leave him hanging."
(The look on Luc's face here is so heart-warming. Confused, lost kind of look.)
Eddi: "He just wants a straightforward answer Luc.”
(That look again. So much emotion. I just want to reach out and hold him and kiss his troubles away.)
Luc: “What if there isn’t one.”
Eddi: “Fine. Why don’t you stay in your little hiding place then.”
(Then the look as she walks away. This is why I want Luc back!)

From the straightforward answer bit to the end you read between the lines. Surely they are talking about themselves here really. Eddi wanting to know where she stands and Luc not knowing what he really wants, not knowing what's really happening between the two of them.

I have to say, I think this is my favourite emotional scene. This and at the ends of 'Unsafe Haven'.
