I dont think Luc would stay if Eddi died.
Yes i totally agree, there havent been many but i love Jac and Eddi scenes! My two favourite characters from the show and both simliar in some ways i.e. very strong characters, dont take any nonesense!

I agree, really don't want Max knowing Luc, its too silly. Also, Eddi works well with different characters but I thought Luc worked rather well with Frieda, they made a good team as work colleagues.Also, I know it was briefly, he did work well with Alex.
I don't think Luc has had the opportunity to work outside of AAU but I think he could well with other characters if they were written well. I would like to see him work with Jac though as they are brilliant in the operation theatre.

I think more Jac and Eddi scenes are needed Considering their characters run quite similar, they really work well together!

Then again, I always thought we needed more Luc and Jac scenes - they seemed as if they would have a good dynamic, similar to that of Jac and Joseph possibly. Joseph had his OCD to contend with occasionally, whilst Luc has his claustrophobia.

Yes, I think Jac and Luc scenes would be great! I also love Eddi and Hanssen scenes, she seems to be one of the few who doesn't suck up to him & is willing to stand her ground as we saw in the episode "Shes Electric"

Also having watch an old episode recently, I notcied how Luc says the line:

"I sensed she was getting to attached to me, I thought my absence might nudge her approachment" talking about a patient, maybe this is what he does when people get close.

Oh Luc I hate not knowing things..roll on the next few episodes!

I am so frustrated, I wanted good last 5-6 episodes with good storylines with Luc in it and knowing abit more about him personally. I hate Holby City producers sometimes, making us fans suffer like this.

Also thought that I keep thinking of his return as a permanent one, maybe someone he knows, or someone from his past, mum for example, has to go in to hospital and therefore he has to return but only for a few episodes, i mean that would work if Joseph hasnt signed a new contract, and would almost be a conclusion to the story. Bar all his weird secrets. . . But yep, I think his return is early Sept, which to be honest doesnt seem that long away, especially with this max storyline and for all we know there could be some up coming luc contact in form of a letter or text. But boy, i hope its true, I really look forward to her throwing something! just like my fic!

I think what the Holby team are trying to convey with Luc’s disappearing then reappearing acts quite suddenly and without any explanation is that he is an unreliable sort of man, free spirited. He doesn’t like to settle, hence the traveling. It will take an extraordinary reason to stay…hope Eddi will be it in the end considering he does eventually come back. The question is what will happen next…I do love the Luc/Eddie paring, such chemistry! Can't wait till he does.

My guess is no..he wont but have to say I am really looking forward to this Max dude, I know I said I didnt want a love triangle, But I dont think this is exactly what thats going to be, sounds more complex, more unusual.

That is also probably why he hasn't made consultant,as he has never stayed in one place long enough to progress in his career, considering he is a double fellow which is a high academic achievement.
I believe, the next stage will be, will Eddi and Luc reconcile or not reconcile, will they remain sort of friends in the end but still depend on each other.

I am dead against love triangles in this setting for these characters. I think so to he won't either whereas Luc would never do this and let Eddi down in this respect and he would officially cover her back if things did go wrong, hope you get my drift here. Luc may disagree on many things with Eddi regarding patient diagnosis but they always work very well as a team. He has always admired her in the work mode and thinks she is a brilliant nurse, there lies one difference between Max (who would never back her publically) and Luc.

Yep I totally agree with Maria747!! I'm hoping it won't be a real love triangle, instead Max is a distraction to Eddi while she's still vulnerable but once he's not backed her up she'll remember that for all his faults Luc has a heart of gold (well I am a Luc loyalist!!!) & does try to help in his way & is more interested in doing research & correct diagnosis instead of climbing the greasy career pole to become consultant! I'm still really intrigued as to HOW he will come back, was wondering if it might involve Eddi's brother Liam getting back in touch with Luc & then with Eddi to say he needs her help because he's in a bad way? Shame it all seems so many weeks off still, but still loads of time for all the lovely Leddie fans to speculate!!

Part of me would love her to throw something at him but depends how its done i wouldnt want the sympathy to shift from Eddi to Luc, which is part of the reason im against a love triangle. What ever his reasons Luc is the one in the wrong here not Eddi

Luc deserves the blame, 100% no doubt about that, but I’d love for the throwing something to be kind of comical, like these two are anyway. They bounce off each other. Maybe she throws something at him because of what he said and it finally makes her snap! Wish the show was on more than once a week…hope the comeback is good now, what with all these interesting speculations!

I don't think it going to be a love triangle as such, mainly because Im not confident the Max/Luc scenes will crossover.

Im thinking Maxs character is purely there to remind Eddi of Luc, an 'aid' to the Leddi storyline. If you get me. A simple way of keeping the character of Luc alive despite not being onscreen. (I mean there are so many times they can keep asking Eddi if hes coming back ) Its keeping us as a viewer thinking about him.

I think his presence will be short and sweet and Eddis rebound from Luc. Perhaps her wanting/forcing her feelings so a relationship forms because he in theory is the next and closest thing she has to 'a Luc' in her life.

And I agree with weeziey, I think Liam could be something to do with this storyline.

As for the throwing of something, [Beeejeeezus I hope she does!] Even if she does, I dont think the sympathy will fall with Luc, he is in the wrong despite his excuse/reason, and the viewer knows it, I just think opposed to trying to get sympathy for him they're more likely just trying to get across how angry Eddi is.

Personally I dont feel sympathy with either of them, yes Luc is clearly in the wrong on this one, but even when he was around, they both made it complicated, and Eddi is no angel
In my opinion the viewer is most likely supossed to feel fustrated [exaclty how I feel] at the situation rather than what caused the situatuion to occur.

Whatever happens his return is going to be a craker. Mind you Joseph Millson just tweeted about being off on a holiday for a week, so guess he wont be in as many episodes as we hoped....Mind you SJP posted a picture of her on holiday too....Perhaps Eddi and Luc will be on a honeymoon then

I think this Max fella is the build up to Luc’s return and is the rebound guy for Eddi, but I don’t think Liam will feature in a scene, perhaps in a phone call or something. I hope there is a comical scene where Eddi does chucks something at Luc for entertainment value and him ducking etc and trying to explain at the same time, as another one of their hilarious domestics.

I don’t feel sympathy for Luc for the way he left Eddi (without a note) and the AAU crew in the lurch, but I feel there is something more dark (from his past) which makes him behave this way, when things get too personal, he runs for the hills. So, it makes me feel a little sad for him because I believe he has found his soul mate in Eddi and she has found hers but he doesn’t know how to deal with these situations because of his complicated upbringing. Will he ever be able to deal with that is the question?

I am looking forward to this upcoming episode, just to check out if this Max guy is any competition for Luc. I am sure he will charm the socks of everyone and Eddi will be intrigued and sort of smitten by him.

Is it me or does it feel like this week since Tuesday has dragged on...I think it's the anricipation of what is going to happen next!
