On my iplayer, I was watching inbetween programmes to see of there is another advert (8:28 pm). The beeb were advertising tuesday night high drama, I managed to see a 5 second clip, it shows Max, Eddi, Luc and Sacha in the office and Eddi shouting at Luc saying 'whats wrong with you?' and Wolfie jumping out of his chair angry.
I think its the scene where Luc and Sacha confront Max that he stole the Camoxidan and they are questioning him. |

Can't wait!!! Just going to be really frustrating watching her hate him for what will probably be another month at least! Hope he doesn't disappear again when she's off the drugs and really hope we don't have a pregnancy scare. Also not sure just finding out about the stolen drugs is enough to make her hate Max. Want her to find out how two faced he was and how he treated that patient the other week.

How do you do that on the i player? I can only watch live (and if live, can't scroll back) or old programmes which don't have the bits in between?

Luc is definitely here for a good while yet, so expect more Leddi scenes. I think she will know that Max deceived her in this episode but she may hate Luc for abit and blame him for interfering and getting rid of Max as she may have thought this was her last chance of happines with Wolfie.
Do other people think that Eddi knows Luc is smitten with her, because it looks to me like she really has no idea. It seems that really it can be taken either way, what with the loose ends scene, and the possible double meaning of can't hear you tied in with the cafe scene. I get the impression that she thinks Luc doesn't really care for her at all, and is now just messing with her love life to be spiteful. In the cafe scene when he says that his interest in him wasn't purely professional, she just give him a 'yeah, got that' look, but that whole scene, whilst obvious to us, shows us that Luc cares for Eddi, on her end of it made it seem like Luc just wanted to control her. The way Luc says "excellent, that went well" after she left, shows me that he realized that. "And heaven forbid, he likes me" - sounds like she thinks he never even cared for her in the first place. Funny that the person she thinks is trying to control her for selfish reasons is actually trying to save her from the person trying controlling her for selfish reasons. |

I see what you mean by the clip....definitely too too short. There's barely a second's worth. Eastender's gets longer! Maybe they don't want to give much away. It looks like it will be an explosive episode and the clip that was shown, it looks like Eddi is obviously getting riled about Luc and found out he took hair etc and was behind it all in discovering what Max is really like. Can't wait! I'll no doubt be watching that episode over and over and over and over and over and over....I think you get my drift!

That's what I think, that she feels like Max is her last chance to be happy.

Funny that the person she thinks is trying to control her for selfish reasons is actually trying to save her from the person trying controlling her for selfish reasons. I really think she doesn't know, and I think she thinks that he doesn't care enough because he doesn;t say the words of affection a woman wants to hear. I hope you get my drift here. She is trying to find some hidden clues that he does like her but Luc doesn't make it easier on himself to show her that he does. I don't think he said that he liked her or loved her to her face. But, I want to stick up for him because, its not his fault as he has never experienced or was not allowed to show any emotion or reaction so he doesn't know how to react to her questions Remember that last scene in Safe Haven (pt 2), he said to Eddi ' I don't know how to do this'. He was genuinely stuck on how to handle his relationship with Eddi. Did you notice how Luc was struggling to express the word 'love' to Eddi as if he was being tortured to spit the word out to her. He did say love has many faces, wondering waht he meant by that ? |

SJP said herself that Eddi doesn't know why Luc has come back and that Eddi believes "he is only their to ruin things for her". From her point of view, it's easier to move on if she believes he doesn't care for her. I think she's in that place where she spoke previously of "being tired of trying to understand...of wanting to understand". She tried to connect with him before and then she was left alone, so why would she put herself in that position again? I think somewhere within her there must be that niggle of him being back for her and her wondering what that could mean. |

At the end of the ep she was enjoying taunting Luc downing shots with Max. ie you left me & hurt me but I've found someone else & look what you've missed out on, that kind of behaviour indicates to me she knows that he is not over her & she is trying to convince herself she is over him with drink & drugs but she is so not! Also I loved the challenging look Luc gives Max at the end of the last Ep, you can tell they are friends off screen, they almost look like they are going to crack up!!! Have I contradicted myself here? Would be good to know what Eddi's true feelings are but the interview with sjp dudn't give much away

The problem with Luc, he can be quite difficult to read, he is such a multi-layered complex personality. |

It's a tricky one, you can't blame Eddi for thinking he didn't care, after he left with no explanation for 3 months & was hardly gushing with apologies when he does come back & instead tries to dis Max which although we know he is right, she could just see tharvas spiteful as you say. That said he does say some very nice things to her in a Luc way, Like it's good to see you (ie he'd missed her) plus the whole loose ends thing, she did know he was feeling bad about it. She may think he no longer likes her in that way & wanted to come back to tell her as he was feeling guilty.
At the end of the ep she was enjoying taunting him diwning shots wuth Max. ie you left me & hurt me but I've found someone else & look what you've missed out on, that kind of behaviour indicates to me she knows that he is not over her & she is trying to convince herself she is over him with drink & drugs but she is so not! I missed the clip
and I've got an iPad so can't go backI don't think luc will leave when she's off drugs hell want to stick around and make sure she's coping and staying clean I hope they do a good job of showing her withdrawing like being sick, in pain, sweating etc And also struggle to stay off drugs Not like eastenders where phil is drinking then decides he wants to stop and is clean the next day and can walk into the pub no problem it's so farfetched it really annoys me I just hope holby being a medical drama is more lifelike ( hope you get what I mean and I'm not just rambling) |

Great analogy Weeziey, I also got the feeling when Luc is looking forward to this challenge to sort of get Eddi back and away from the bad influence of Max. I get a sense that there is definitely unfinished business with Leddi, she is looking for signs. Even when she saw him in the lab after his absence, she was confused, shocked and floored, hope you get what I mean.

The way Luc says "excellent, that went well" after she left, shows me that he realized that.. I think perhaps they've done it this way as it makes the future less predictable to the viewer. EDIT: It most likely done this way so we are just as confused as Eddi ![]() This I think thats exactly what she thought, and in the end scene when she says "Luc doesn't like to loose control" It never even occured to me it was about drinking, I immediatly thought she thinks Luc is annoyed because he has lost 'control' of her. Whats annoying about the whole thing is unless he actually says it. She is never going to know. Ok, he could try and show it in other ways, but he's tried that and its clear Eddi is going to hate on him for driving Max away, obviously in the long run she'll be glad and although you may disagree I think we might see a sweet moment in tomorrows episode mainly because Eddi finds the drugs and knows Max has been stealing them, so I think then its clear to her Luc was helping her before this episode ends. The scene I picture is Eddi suggesting to Luc shes expecting a "I told you so" saracastic comment but him actually just asking if she is ok. She'll probably tell him to leave her alone and I think thats when she'll take the drugs as we know she does after Max leaves. You heard it here first.. ![]() Or am I being optimistic? [which I can assure you is highly unusual for me!] |

Yes I totally do!! It can't be easy for her, many men struggle with showing thier feelings but Luc us something else & doesn't make it easy for himself or Eddi, ahhhh that's why we love them isn't it?!!! You did well understanding my spelling (!) it's late & the mobile spell check is getting the better of me, must be time for sleep then
![]() Yes I still dont like him....
