Saint Doug, Tez? Conning his parents without good reason?

I think so. I mean, this summer was always going to be a task for them with the Olympics and what not, so they created a bit of buzz for themselves in the way that only HO can.

Throw in a few random suspects, like Ally (blank slate), Mercy (mentalist - And I do believe her stabbing herself was always planned too), Paul (fun character, believable as crazy), Will (the innocent, wrongfully accused), Sampson (generic villain) and you have a list of suspects.

Good point Lemon 'ed

That could be why the Walker stuff has been so frustrating so far since they did the whole Lynsey's death stuff earlier but then they didn't want to bring Walker into the whole plot much earlier on that planned they've just slotted in all this thinking it would be better but actually it's just irritating.

Not in close proximity to the word 'chemistry'.

Which makes it even more clear that it must have always been meant to be Walker.”

Yep, that's about the size of it, I think.

Exactly.

Though I have enjoyed the Bralker stuff, you can tell that, until we got these latest spoilers, they've been treading water. Sly looks and Sampson references, until we get to the meat of the story.

Mm, this is my problem. I was always a bit concerned that bringing lovely Silas back would throw the Walker stuff off-beam, and that's pretty much what's happened. They should have been building the Brendan/Walker stuff over a longer time. Instead we've had pretty much nowt, and now we're going from 0-60 in about one episode.

Frustrating. Hope they can pull it back though. Think I'll always feel they could have done much more with it.

The rest of that week sounds pretty good. Myra/Mitzeee, Mercedes hinting that Paul hit her, the potential end of Sinbart. The only bad thing is that, with Esther impersonating Maddie on-camera, you know she mustn't be far away from a grand return.

ETA: Ricky leaves that week too.

I hope they at least give the lad a decent send-off - ideally, Duncan coming back for him and both going off to live in Spain.

Even though the plot is ridiculous and will play out crap and probably to stug's advantage it actually makes me laugh because their actually making them no better than Brendan so don't think they can take any moral highground in the future.

Anyway i'm kinda hopeful we'll find out what walkers up to soon but i doubt it

I don't think Declan will get chance to act like a badass this time round anyway.

It doesn't feel like he's gonna be around for very long.

Well, he only seems to be around for half a week, so I'm not sure what he can get up to. Either he does trash the deli, or he's done something dodgy at home.

I... okay. Where's the spoiler about Doug's parents?

I can't think what deep trouble Declan could have got himself into only if he trashed the deli and doug said he was calling the police. So confusing
