Is it your phone? I didn't have much trouble when I was with Orange.

Orange
Hi Eskimo
Im pretty sure its your phone as Orange has the best call quality of any mobile network that i have used, as they use EFR. i would contact Orange one 150 (free from your orange phone) and see what they say.....expect them to diagnose a fault with the handset.. Hope this helps regards Paul |

I would expect it's a fault with the handset. No phone should ever make a fuzzing sound and it definitely wouldn't depend on the network you were on.

My orange phone gets a terrible signal in Liverpool city center. It's not my handset because I tried the SIM in two unlocked Nokias and they were all showing zero signal bars when my Virgin SIM was showing four bars in both Nokias. My phone's a Motorola V500 and i'm gonna get it ulocked and use my Virgin SIM in it.

plus mate, if you've had the phone less than 14 days just go and return the handset and cancel your contract, stating that you don't like the signal.
I'm on orange and i live in london. The reception is fine for me. |
