Now I want to watch it at prime time Saturday night
I love watching those old clips, just to remind me why Come Dancing was axed in the first place.

This is still my favourite, though. Stately As A Galleon

hehe, love that. Maureen Lipman revived it about 20 years ago, didn't she?

I like the VW even though the steps and turns are formulaic, if it flows nicely and they use a good song.

I enjoy the Charleston so long as it is done quite traditionally and not with too much acrobatics or props.

I think the samba seems a hard dance for celebs to do, so I wouldn't miss that one.

I say each year that I would like to see them tackle a bit of Old Time!
Oh please no no no ........ it's simply the biggest bore to watch.

Salsa is actually one of the easiest of the dances to learn because all they need to do is learn the steps, there's very technique.

I'm happy for the '10 dances' to be kept (waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, tango and Viennese waltz, rumba, samba, paso doble, cha-cha-cha and jive), but some serious thought should be given to the order of the dances e.g. at the moment the rumba is danced far too early.

I don't really care what other dances are included as long as everyone one left in the competition dances the same dances by the end. I don't like it when couples are given different dances e.g. In Series 7 couples danced either the Charleston or Rock 'n' Roll.

I said Samba, not Salsa, Kaycee WRT old time, I was having a bit of fun. Would be a good technical challenge though.

It would be nothing like it was in the old days. Bobbing up and down to poppy tunes, outfits updated, they could even do it as a formation dance instead of the group dances. It's an idea whose time has come.

I'd get rid of the Charleston and the Salsa, and move the Argentine Tango back to the semi-final.

Definitely this needs to happen. It made me mad last year when we had some really second rate ATs when if it was left to the semi we'd get 4/5 good ones.

Get rid of the Charleston please. I also want them to return to just two dances for the first five weeks. I didn't like it last year where we had all of them being danced from Week 3.

I would stick to the 5 latin and 5 ballroom

Add AT to the semi final and possible AS

Let all couples dance 1 latin and 1 ballroom before eliminations start

I'm thinking the Rock n Roll was just a bad dream.

No mention of the paso? Don't get me wrong, I love it when danced properly and there has been the odd good one with a female celeb but I'm struggling to think of a male celeb one where the bloke didn't switch awkwardly from pose to pose (with a bit of stamping in between) while the female left him standing so she could wave her skirts around a lot.

OK, my memory is a sieve these days and you can probably give various examples that prove me completely wrong. Which is fine, as long as you don't mention THAT one. I'm still using all my mental powers to try to wipe out the image...

I completely agree. The AT is my favourite dance and I think it should only be tackled by the celebs who have reached a high standard (well, high for Strictly I mean).

I'd be really sad to lose the rumba or American Smooth. When the rumba is danced properly (Kara and Artem) it's beautiful to watch. Doesn't happen very often in Strictly, I'll grant you, but I'd still like to keep it.

I'd be happy to bin the jive!

Salsa, Rock n Roll and Charleston to be ousted for me.

I'd simply be happy to see all the tens dances done properly without mixing them up.

Would hate to lose the Rumba because when done well it is just beautiful (although I know it often isn't on SCD, like someone says above!) and I'm slushy enough to love the music!

Agree with those of you above who would like to see the AT brought back to the semi finals.
