We already have the thread for everyone's favourite films, so I was wondering what everyones least favourite films are!
I'll get the ball rolling. I thought Gone With The Wind was the biggest pile of overrated crap. It went on for far to long and not much happened. It's been a while since I saw it and all I can seem to remeber is someone making a dress out of curtains! It had be on the edge of my seat!!!!!!!
My worst film of recent years has to be Domestic Disturbamce. It is so full of cliches and plot holes. Avoid this at all costs!!

Oh, most definitely, 'The Rocky Horror Show' didn't know what it was about and then ended up walking out after about 20 minutes. Terrible film.

The most recent one that comes to mind is 'Pokemon the Movie' took the kids to see it and spent what seemed like hours listening to the characters just saying their names over and over again. Unfortunately, couldn't walk out on this one because of the kids' interest though hubbie escaped by going to sleep!

Worst film for me was "Out of Africa". Did anything happen that I must of missed?

Really couldn't see what was so good about this flick to earn it however many oscars.

Others that just bubble under are:

The Batchelor
Tomb Raider
Kevin & Perry Go Large

Personally I like the film but then I love the stageshow and if you've never seen that I can understand why you hated the film...it is very wierd indeed.

Worst Films - I can generally sit through any old drivel but I just couldn't bear to watch all of The Big Lebowski or Natural Born Killers, so unless they got a hell of a lot better at the end they must be the worst.

I did watch all of Kalifornia (see, any old drivel) and that was truly awful.

I also thought Titanic and Notting hill were both rubbish.

'In & Out' was sooo patrionising and offensive. I also found 'American Psycho' kinda pointless - although the performances were good.

Yeah... american psycho was weird. I walked out thinking "I really should like that, it's got so many good reasons to like it... but I really don't like it".

Personally, worst films are... Alien 4, Spy Hard, Jurassic Park: The Lost World, Something About Mary... and Saving Private Ryan.

The worst film I have seen has to be was Honey I shrunk The Kids and the sequel. These two were the most boring films. Half way through I fell a sleep.

I watched Scary Movie 2 the other night and when it finished, I thought to myself "why did I bother?"

There is not many movies that I set out to watch and think like that.

Worst films for me are:

Weekend At Bernies 2 - I managed 20 minutes of this before ejecting that tape.
The Stupids - I was too embarrassed to leave the cinema as there were only 8 people there.

and more recently

Mission To Mars - so bad that I've had to buy it on DVD to force other people to watch it

A saw a film a few years ago, Fitzcaraldo, about a German guy who wanted to build an opera house in the jungle. Story is as follows:

First 10 minutes - finds location, buys boat (huge paddle steamer) and sails down the amazon, only to find a mountain in his way.

Next 2 1/2 hours - pulls boat, inch by inch, up the mountain.

Last 5 second of film - someone cuts the rope, boat falls back down the mountain and is destroyed. German goes home!!

Would have to agree that American Psycho was such a let down.
Miss Congeniality (sp?) was also a cliched, formulaic pile of dog mess. It was supposed to be funny but watching Sandra Bullock fall over a few times was just pathetic.
Another film that I was sisapointed with was American Beauty. The direction, cinematography etc where good but the story just didnt do it for me. It just goes to show that you shouldn;t believe the hype that surrounds so many films these days.

It's all a matter of opinion. The joke in There's Something About Mary wore very thin very soon, and noone has ever explained to me exactly why Dumb and Dumber is good
